Yes, the casual outfit is the only one. Though they said they may look into giving more post-release.

we really wanted to do a night skyhold, but only had time for day . There are some cinematics that happen at night though!

Upcoming DLC, hopefully. I paid for more clothing/armor options for companions in Mass Effect, and I will happily do so again for the Inquisitor. I really hope they are able to offer it in the future for all who want it.

They included a decent amount in me3 for free, they include this one crappy looking on for dai and i should expected to pay for more after I spend money on the deluxe edition? What happened to all that customization they were bragging about?

 

I guess they should only include the starting armor in the game and then expect us to buy the rest of the armor too.

There's TONS of customization. You honestly can't expect it to be infinite though. Extra skins and cosmetic DLC (if they even add any) is entirely optional. If you don't want to buy it, then don't, but why should you care if others choose to? It won't affect your game or your wallet, right?   I would rather they add DLC for some stuff later than to delay the game any more. Just my opinion, YMMV etc.

I took that as more of a "We're all so blitzed out from crunching we have no idea what day it is anymore" type reminder arrow, but I hope they go gold soon-ish! Those folks deserve several beers and a lot of sleep.

Then you have feature creep. If they delay to add night then maybe they should delay to add this and then that and so on.

So because the DAO camp site was only night time bound means that it required more dev time in excess of it's 6 years of development?

 

The "nice to have" features list would always benefit from more time and resources but at some point there needs to be a line drawn. Making the type of statement that the game needs more dev time based on not having a night feature for Skyhold is not reasonable.

If the game is not ready after 4 and a half years of dev time then it will likely never be ready.  There just has to come a point where you push it out the door, cross your fingers, and hope your design and story decisions resonate with the audience.
