Honestly, it wasn't until someone pointed it out two pages ago that I realised that it was always night at the DA:O camp.

And I've played that game seven times.

 

Clearly, I was never going to notice the "always daylight mode" in Skyhold if it hadn't been mentioned. Do people really find this a terrible flaw?

For those that demand it be night while at Skyhold, just close your eyes while playing. Complain loudly that you have to up the candle and lantern oil budget to better light the place, and offer an apology every time someone says "Inquisitor" as you're running along. You must have bumped into them in the dark.

 

Those who play as dwarves and elves can probably ignore this and simply gloat over their low-light vision superiority since the keep will always be bright as day to them.

Before I watch, this stream didn't have any serious spoilers right? I watched the PC stream and what they considered minor spoilers were not a big deal at all to me, just wondering if it's the to the same degree in this stream.

Actually there was a "night-time" mod that did just that for BF3. So we might be able to do the same for DAI.

I think you also have to change the patterns of all the NPCs and the music and all that crap.  Plus get the lighting right EVERYWHERE.

Yuuuuup. Personally I'm not hit hard by DAI (since I'm moreso on-loan from ME to help final), but finaling ME3 was exactly this so I know the feel.

Damn.  I was hoping we'd finally have an answer to the question of how many moons Thedas has.  Still wondering if Satina was retconned out of existence.
