... While everyone else looks actually more regal than yourself?

But as Pinecone said we probably shouldn't discuss this here anymore.

Just one last comment.

2014_09_25_05_08_11_EGX_Twitch.jpg

This is how a regal military outfit should look like in my opinion.

I don't think you read what I said.  One need not be brightly coloured to be regal, nor ostentatiously dressed to be seen as powerful.

That outfit certainly works for a state visit; not so much for wandering around your castle when there are no dignitaries around.  Also, note how despite the brighter colour scheme, it is still a fairly simple affair more like a military uniform (not a surprise) than a gaudy ceremonial display of exaggerated opulence.

I'm heading for the feedback thread.

That's acctualy a bit rude. It's not our fault that outfit looks like pyjamas.

It's rude to complain about a game you didn't even play or saw final product yet. Let's not forget what's Dragon Age is about. It's not The Sims. It would be nice to have more options of casual outfit? Maybe. It's important to the game? No. It's just a outfit... Everything that really matters seems great to me.

They're working hard to make a good RPG game for us, they're answering our questions (seriously, which other companies do that with the fans?), they're showing wonderful things about the game and people instead of praise the good things, complain about a insignificant aspect that isn't mandatory in the game...

Sorry Pinecone...

Sorry Pinecone...

They don't praise the good things?

Sorry but you seem to be on another forum than me, because i see plenty of people here that do nothing but praise anything about the game.

People that jump to Bioware's defense as soon as someone even dares to mention that a part of the game might not be perfect.

Apparently we are just allowed to praise everything and if we don't we are just haters hating on everything bioware does.

Cool.

Let's just take the casual clothing discussion for example. A lot of people are not impressed with the piece of clothing they got and are dissapointed.

What that resulted in was a lot of posts on the forum. What you might have missed was that the majority of those posts went:

"Hey guys, the skyhold looks fantastic, but i have this little problem with the casual clothing..."

Almost everyone praised skyhold itself. But of course we are all just haters that want biowares games to fail and their devs to kill themselves after we drive them into depression with our constant criticism.

I mean that's the only reason i personally am on this forum, because i hate Bioware games so so so so much.

Yes?

Briala was not the leader of a significantly powerful upcoming military force that has the potentiality to re-instate her or destroy her completely.

True, I just appreciate the irony.

Also, I'm not sure dancing with an elf is going to endear her to the people she intends to rule (mind you, I do intend to play as a male elf).

Just watched the Stormcoast live stream...

- Lvl 5 and they already have several companions I didn't see in previous versions.  This says to me the majority of companions (if not all) can be found early.  HUGE plus.

- That ocean!

- Love the repopulating.  It got a little deeper explanation (for me at least).  It not just respawn - it's reactive as they tried to get more of an ecosystem... love the idea that you wouldn't want to hunt an area too much.

- The fact that I could convince that bandit group to join me (with hard work) or destroy them... love it.  Yes, it's a fresh coat of paint on traditional mechanics - but I think that coat of paint is going to be the perfect color for me.

- And Blackwall is like Duncen eh?  A recruiter?  That makes him a lot more interesting actually Didn't know this before.

Every time I watch a video of this game I get more and more excited.  Haven't been this excited for a game in well over a decade.

Considering we've only ever seen her dance with human inquisitors, who knows?

She might refuse an elf.

I just think that we don't have to like everything what is in game. And we can say it outloud. It's important that they know we don't like it, so they can change it in future or don't make that mistake in another game.

For some casual outfit may be don't important, for some it is.

And I praise good things. :P I really love Skyhold itself. :)

Sorry, I won't write offtopic anymore.

It'd be an interesting decision if you could keep a Rift open over a town or city of people you don't like

Considering this is at her winter place, Halamshiral, If I am playing my dalish I want to be the one to snub her. Halamshiral btw is the former capital of the Dales before the Exalted march against the Dalish.

Kind of unrelated, but I find it interesting that at least 3 of the 10 open-world regions in the game are situated in the Dales (Emerald Graves, Emprise du Lion, Exalted Plains). If Halamshiral is actually a region and not only present for certain story missions, that's make 4, which is almost half of the game's areas. That combined with the fact the elven PC is exclusively Dalish makes me think that elven history might play a fairly major role in the story.

So, hey, how about dem tweets. This is still a tweet thread yes?

-----

User

@Mike_Laidlaw Just curious regarding future DA games. Whether the option to pick what handedness your character is will be at all considered

@User Unlikely. There’s a surprising number of tech reasons.

User
@Cameron__Lee is safe to assume that Dragon Age Inquisition is the same number of gigabytes on PS4 and Xbox One?

@User I would think so yep

Except doesn't Gaspard want to rebuild the Orlesian Empire? Political backstabbery is one thing, but supporting a warmonger onto the throne of the empire probably isn't the best way to create a stable region, and seems like a pretty good way to alienate the nobles of Ferelden.

I wish people would try to focus on the lavish dynamic enormously customisable base they've worked incredibly hard to build us and less on the minutiae of what you're allowed to wear while you explore it.

You want me to focus on something I'll pay attention to for not even half the time? I'm going to see what my Inquisitor's wearing all the time at skyhold. I'm not going to pay that much attention to the freaking drapes.
