History is filled with Products that has been overrated with Commercials and previews with the sole purpose to compensate or hide flaws in order to appeal them to customers. Usually discovering the flaws later when bought. Even major companies do this.

I see where you're coming from. But I highly doubt they are going to start showing commercials of anything other than cinematics, i don't think theyre going to do the whole "Everyone gives it a 90!!!!" thing like games like Destiny did. You should realize though, that they HAVE to market their game. If they don't noone will even know about it. The fandom alone is not enough to make the game profitable.

When you are playing card you dont simply rise your hands in the air and say: "i got 3 jacks in the first draw". i understand that they must make a marketing for the game of course. But you wouldnt show all the cards right away. let it brew for a time and show 1-2 minutes trailer and so on prior to the release the last 2 weeks.

Ok now im actually starting to get really worried here. It is really Close to over-hype here.

 

if it will be more gameplay along with Commercials these few weeks left, im really going to consider to cancel my pre-order.  

So Bioware was so afraid that people would discover bugs.....they let a bunch of youtubers play the game then post it and their own impressions online. They then have shown weekly Twitch streams detailing gameplay, PC UI and new areas/features like crafting, skyhold and a shoreline and some how this proves to you that the game is hiding it's flaws?

DAI is not a card game.

BioWare have spent 4 years building it and there's a lot at stake.

If this is the game that brings BioWare 'back to form' then no marketing opportunity will be left to chance.

And the marketing has been varied from Twitch to youtubers to trailers both DA fan-focused and DA noob focused.

Much of what they have shared has been from the early part of the game and it's a huge game.

I'm not at all concerned that the best has been in the trailers.

I also expect DAI to be heavily advertised and marketed in the next three weeks.

Except it's a game, not a car. And there's no such thing as a flawless game.

 

Marketing is just doing their job: getting people to buy the game. Which is easier to do if your product is sound.
