Pinecone is just trying to prevent this thread from being locked, people.  It's stated to be Spoiler Free, after all.

Honestly, good for them. Between giving Inquisition the time it needs and delaying Battlefield: Hardline so it's not the rushjob BF4 was, I approve of what seems to be more of a focus on quality and less on more money in less time.

Gah. The theme is so beautiful I can barely handle it.

I'll be sticking around the twitter thread because the mods here have done a pretty good job of keeping spoilers out.

Thank goodness for Andrew Wilson - he's having to undo all the crap EA got themselves into, and it's paying off. That's good to see.

Mass Effect never got the chance to flesh out what they wanted. They were never delayed like Dragon Age. Since this new CEO, more games have been delayed to get the experience just right for gamers. It's really nice to see it working.

It provides hope for the future. Maybe the evilness of EA will dissipate and they will simply be the huge corporation that happens to own a bunch of developers, rather than the root of all that is wrong in video games, lol.

I wonder what the pre-order numbers for DA:I are

It is open tomorrow isn't it?

They probably mean the exact time. Don't want to open the floodgates and have everyone ddos the site before its ready for the load

I don't think it's totally to do with the new CEO, due to the fact that the sims 4, a game which sorely needed a delay, was rushed out.

I really, really hope so. I hope this Andrew Wilson is legit with all this. I'd like to see EA do well And be a stand up company.

We'll see.

The only thing that matters to me is they keep Bioware well funded.

Indeed. I don't have much interest in EA games but they support Bioware now.. That matters to me a lot

It's highly relevant, in my opinion, because they have a lot to do with things like release schedules and funding. DA2 was a rushed mess, but if a game they gave considerably more time does well, I hope that sends a message to them that they need to give skilled developers the time to do quality work.

Not that DA2 was completely terrible, just far below the usual standard. Again, imo.

I should add to my last retweet. That's not an indication of what is or isn't in DAI. I just enjoy knowing our games illicit genuine emotion
