This is pretty ****** awesome. If I can make gear like that for my mage I'm satisfied.

That's Warden Battlemage armour (which will look the same on any gender/race combination as it does here), and the Battlemage Cowl (which I think is one of the unique model per companion situations).

 

But you can make the armour for your PC for sure, just find the schematic .

If its a helmet (which it seems to be) it can be put onto anything. The 'armor slot' is torso, gloves and boots, with slots to change the glove and boots but thats a crafting thing. The helmet is 100% separate. Sooo you can probably throw that hood on anything with a mage. Kinda curious if we can throw on hoods for other classes though.

I know the armor is 'unique Warden' so it won't change. I meant the cowl. Do mages only get cowls for specific sets? Or can I throw a cowl on anything the PC is rocking?

It Depends on The headgear, I guess.

With crafting, yes.
Though now that I think, they shown Sera with a full helm in a recent stream. It was early in the game, so I don't think they could've craft a rogue headgear with a Warrior headgear look, so Maybe Any headgear can be equipped Regardless of The class.

It's part of the 'helm' category, totally separate from the main armour. Has it's own slot and everything .

No. it was available for Cassie as well when he put her in the Templar Commander armor.
