Any chance we'll get a release date with the reveal? I must admit I'm more excited about it than the reveal itself.
I am too, to be honest. Call me a fangirl or umm... apologist?... I don't know... whatever derogatory nickname people give to those who still love Bioware, but I already know that I am going to pre-order DA:I and I honestly don't want to know too much about it before I play it. I would like it to be a surprise. I just want to know when I can play it!

Exactly. I just want a date to mark on my calendar, so I keep coming back here for news and hoping I won't spoil anything!

If no date is announced at E3 then there's pretty much no chance of the game coming out calendar 2013.

Given that they're almost certainly going to do so at E3, I expect we'll get a release date for DA3 then also - no matter the consoles on which it will eventually launch. I'd be very surprised if DA3 was revealed without a launch date, and as Basil said in that case it could mean a delay.
So, yeah, I'd say expect a release date for DA3 to be mentioned at E3.

If there's no exact date announced I'm sure they'll at least announce a general time of release like: "winter 2013" or "spring 2014". They have to give some sort of timeframe with the reveal imo.

I would be very interested if they said a "Winter 2013" release date at E3. Very interested, indeed!

Well, I just saw something awesome. Shame I can't say anything about it yet.
I swear the teasing is getting more ambiguous, not less :/
Still, hopefully that was the E3 presentation?

Judging by other games that have been recently announced, they have October release dates. So i'm guessing DA3 will be November, but more likely December.
A holiday season release that misses the biggest shopping day of the year would be pretty stupid on their part.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you do realize that sometimes games do release in December, right? I mean, Far Cry 3 didn't come out in North America until early December (it released end of November in other territories), and as far as I know it did alright.

Far Cry 3 is a shooter in a hugely successful franchise. Inquisition is an RPG in a middling franchise from a company that's got a lot to prove.

Since when does a company that's been araund for 17-18 years and has delivered 15 great games has anything to prove?BasilKarlo wrote...

Also, Ubisoft Montreal werent in such a good position after the huge failures of Far Cry 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and the other not very well recieved games they've released in the past 5 years (other than the AC series everything they've made has been a joke)

I think it's pretty safe to assume DA3 will be, at least, on current gen consoles. Statements like this aren't usually massively specific in regards to which games will be on which systems.
Enjoy. Or panic/start rumours/threads/rage like a maniac like the BSN is prone to.

How much of that is just your perception, though? From what I've seen, the success of Origins, both critically and commercially, was comparable to that of any entry in the Far Cry series (though anything you can easily track down on the internet regarding game sales has to be taken with a grain of salt). DA2 didn't sell quite so well, but it was still pretty successful (commerically, and with professional critics) in its own right.

BioWare's reputation was tarnished through DA2, but it was ME3 that really hit the crippling blow. This is what I think Basil means by "a lot to prove." Anything with BioWares name on it will be bought with caution by the majority, I think.
Of course, I'm a sucker so I'll buy it on release.

Since glowing reviews for DA2 were bought, since DA2 was widely panned by players, since ME3 fractured that series' fanbase and failed to deliver a satisfying ending, since TOR very nearly flopped.
