Well, at least it was something new... As for the spoilers, if you watched any videos or streams before, you already knew what happens in prologue.

No one is supposed to show the prologue. We were told only the Hinterlands. Press/Youtubers have either willfully ignored it, or just didn't pay attention.

I think I'll stick to watching yours and DA Fans videos from now on. People I trust not to ruin the game for me.

His video is basically the entire opening of the game, with most of the cutscenes skipped through.

I think it might be time that I start choosing which videos I watch more carefully. I don't mind seeing game play and the odd cut-scene  that DA have already shown but I don't want t he whole start of the game spoiled.

 

Agreed. I think the safest way is to avoid all videos until folks here say whether they are safe or not.

Also, we can probably trust some of the BSNer videos, like DA Fan, as I feel they'd want to be respectful to their fellow fans?

@coffeeelemental Some people want to watch gameplay and not see plot spoilers, so I think its good to give out warnings even for things that aren't against the embargo. I mean I don't expect to ~remain pure~ since I'm not avoiding it, but I like this thread as a resource to have whether or not I want to watch something.


So on that regard, for people like me.....I also thought Gopher's video was good, even though he didn't get to play it as long...and he managed to give impressions about the prologue that gave me no information about what it contained, just how effective it was.

Your's and LadyInsanity's videos were great that is the type I video I want to see. It shows us how the game plays without telling me too much story content.

Aww man, I like Joe's videos and how he breaks things down.

 

Just how spoilery are those spoilers? Are there surprises that are meant to punch you in the face like Bhelen's betrayal or Tamlen disappearing in DAO or just some walking around, some fighting and some conversations about stuff we kind of already know? If it's the latter, I might be ok with watching the video. If it's the former, well, I'll be playing the game in exactly two weeks so patience is a virtue, I guess.

Angry Joe one has never been seen gameplay (prologue) but he skips trhough about 95% of the cutscenes so no story is spoiled, but still a spoiler for those who don't want to know anything of the prologue.

There was definitely stuff in there that I didn't know and didn't want to know before I get the game next Thursday.
