You should be respectful in these types of deals. You don't want publishers to get s***** with you, otherwise no review copies and no early impression videos.

Yeah, I agree. I mean, making an honest mistake is one thing, but having an attitude of I don't give a crap is not in the least professional.

Weird question, but do the DAMP streams spoil anything about the main game?  I don't mind DAMP gameplay spoilers, but pretty much all of my Dragon Age media is this thread now because nowhere else can I get news about the game that seems spoiler-safe for the SP story

 

(On that note, thank you to everyone in this thread for keeping it spoiler-free )

Nope, no spoilers.  This past DAMP stream actually called that out.

 

They talk about the enemy factions you'll face in DAMP, but that's it.

Nope it's just MP. No mention of SP game at all, well maybe just in passing but nothing news worthy.

IMO it should be the dalish mage's starting gear but I know it isn't, I hope we can find it at some point though.

Angry Joe is best when he isn't angry, Also if he broke a NDA it was probably an honest to Jim Sterling mistake.

 

Also that vid was hardly spoilery, he skips through most of cut scenes including the ones with the greatest potential.

Angry Joe is not in the least professional, so it fits the character.

 

I mean, I like him and I think he's often got a point even when he starts ranting, but I'm under no illusion that he's an entertainer at least as much as he's a critic, which seems to work fine for him with his million + views per video so good on him. One thing I'm going to give him is that he's obviously passionate about his work and doesn't pretend that he's neutral, he wears his biases and is proud of them. Which is good, since every critic person in existence is biased in some way.

 

I doubt he's really going to take flak from EA since he skipped the cutscenes and was overall very positive about the game. And even if he wasn't I'm quite sure EA's PR department know better than to test the might of the Angry Army in a pitched battle.

You don't get the details of who says what but there's still plenty of spoilers in Angry Joe's vid. I now have a pretty good idea of how the prologue plays out, Haven makes a nice change from the Hinterlands though.

Say what you want about AngryJoe but the guy says what most reviewers have a hard time telling without the power of the almighty dollar in ones face *glares at IGN and Gamespot* I find that he critiques games in an eccentric manner but one that is ultimately accurate in the end.
