I personally like angry Joe he is a comedian/critic/reviewer all in one he is typically right when it comes to many games and unlike many he does his research on a game. It irritates me how people who are professionals will not do it and he does it. Sometimes he is wrong from time to time but he looks at games from many different view points he also gives games a chance but burns them when they don't deliver.

That's the first glimpse I've seen of the codex. I see they have carried the card theme throughout the menus, including the codex. Neat.

 

Also, this guy is obviously coming from a perspective of playing a bunch of shooters: "Dragon Age Inquisition is a very slow-paced game." Lol.

I realize this is the twitter thread, but people keep quoting me and I really want to clarify what I said about Angry Joe.

 

I'm watching his video, and 1.) I think he does a nice job and 2.) It isn't very spoilery at all.

 

My earlier comment was never about spoilers, it was about breaking an NDA. And maybe he didn't - I don't know all the details. So when I said it wasn't professional, "it" meant purposefully (not accidentally) violating an agreement to not show something. Seems like a huge middle-finger to the dev's, but I suspect he didn't. I mean, couldn't he be sued if he did?

They brought back the numbered codex! And made it look awesome!!

 

I just hope you'll be able to 100% the codex in this game, unlike Origins…

Glad I still have that tab open so I can watch it 1 more time. It was easily my favorite of all the impressions videos floating around right now.

LOL!  I was so annoyed when I realized that there was like one codex entry I couldn't get in Origins because it was only in the Dalish origin.  The compulsive completionist in me short-circuited.
