Actually the main goal of the changes was not to stop healspam, but to allow an attrition based system, which can't be done if unlimited healing is in the game
And maybe that's the problem. Attrition makes for terrible gameplay imo. Especially in a progression based multiplayer game setting where you aren't allowed to save and reload.

Thanks EP! Added to the Mega-Thread...
Here're screenshots if you don't want to read it.
I wish they would give us a new quiver model instead of that recycled DAO asset.
It literally could not be a recycled asset; the games use different engines.
?
That's not how it works at all. Otherwise Skyrim modders wouldn't be able to reconvert the hairstyle meshes made for the Sims into Skyrim. Bioware still has access to the raw DAO quiver mesh that can be imported into the Frostbite engine.
No doubt. In the stream today it was constant barrier spam or health was lost very quickly. That really didn't look....fun.
I'm not too worried. Consider they were at the starting levels where everyone has 1-2 abilities. Obviously you will be spamming. If it's like ME3 where you leveled super quickly, then what will matter is what combat looks mid and (especially) endgame. Once warriors start getting more Guard-generating abilities and mages and rogues get some CC I think you'll be seeing less barrier spam.
MT: @brokenvoice "Did you do the VO for the DA:I Choice & Consequence trailer?" No but am friends w the talented woman who did! @KayBess #FF

The bow is very simple so it looks to be low tier. Perhaps better bows have different quivers. ![]()
The bow looks low quality. Perhaps better bows have different quivers.
Doubtful; I've seen that quiver on every single bow in the screenshots released so far.
But here's hoping.

Euhm...Wait, did I just see "Capture Suledin Keep"?
I don't remember having any keep to be honest.

Meshes can be recycled. That being said it just seems like quiver was in the bottom of their priority list, for good reason I reckon.
Any word on The Last Court?
The strings are beautiful and from the cinematic (especially AngryJoe's video) seen where drawn bows where included, simply drawing that arrow sounded and looked soo satisfying cjqwle
Okay I know I'm weird... And OT ...I'll stop now.
Lol frostbite is not the same engine and skyrim engine is easy to mod Dice frostbite 3 engine is not I have done textures before trust me it's not easy in some engines and some it is.

- Is this new...?
Are we quibbling about quiver appearance now? Oh BSN!
He can have an opinion.
It's not like he made a thread about how the quiver makes the entire game ugly, ruins his experience, and is a conspiracy against him to annihilate his enjoyment of the game.
And I can call his opinion silly and overly picky! Hurray for the two-way street known as free speech! ![]()

I'm being overly picky for wanting something new other than the same quiver we had for 5 years.
Okay...
