I assume it'd be like Warcraft III where Arthas gradually goes down in level as the Lich King becomes increasingly threatened
LOL this is the EXACT same thought that crossed my mind when I read Allan's post.

Impressions from that same person as yesterday, via NeoGAF:
[They've been playing for 30 hours]
The new zones, they keep coming. And also loads of quests in smaller, closed off areas. I like it because not many RPGs have this amount of content. Let alone most AAA games.
Seems like 50 hours just for the main story is possible. That said, I'm doing like 95% of sidecontent so maybe it can be done faster. Not a fan of rushing through myself so eh.
Edit, more:
Not going to put a number on them, but cities are pretty populous. No loading screens when entering houses (there are a few exceptions) is a good change. Cities 'feel' active. Nothing too crazy though. Usually only a few NPCs with actual quests, but it's fine for me.
I really like how you can capture forts. Go in and kill all the enemies, raise your flag and it's yours. It then gets populated by your army. Cool stuff. As I said earlier, stuff like this has an actual impact on the world. You can feel your army getting stronger. Your presence affects a zone in different ways. I've always wanted to play an RPG with more focus on this aspect. Good stuff.

This guy's impressions are making the wait even harder.
I remember when we were all celebrating being under 100 days.... Then 50... It's almost surreal at this point!
Agreed, it's so close. Needless to say, I am so very excited.
... and a new Hinterlands screenshot. I think this might be just about it until the 11th, when reviews start hitting.

/writes this down for DA4
You start at level cap. You win when you reach level 0.
[Puts on hipster glasses] Warcraft 3: Frozen throne
10 days to go, holy crap.
I wonder if it'll be possible for me to get the game a little bit early since I work for a store that also happens to sell video games.
