Wow, they're actually nervous about the reviews.
I guess that If I had worked as hard as they did on this game, I'd be, uhm, somewhat fidgety at midnight, to say the least.
I worked on a complete overhaul of several of our systems at work for about two years. I was pretty nervous when we finally flipped the switch so I can understand why they're nervous.
The other reason they're nervous is simply that there's a lot riding on DA:I. A lot of people lost a good bit of faith in Bioware after DA2 and ME3 (and to a lesser extent, the early days of TOR). Especially after ME3. Gaming media gave DA2 and ME3 great reviews but then turned their opinions around after the fan backlash, so they're going to be more critical this time around. If DA:I reviews well it'll show that Bioware still has the talent to make kickass RPGs (which, IMO, they never lost).
So yeah, they're understandably nervous. I honestly think DA:I is going to get great reviews though and that they've handled the previewing and marketing well (aka letting actual gamers play the game and post to their Youtube channels).
