Depends on the reviewer. If you want to be 100% safe, just look at the score and stay away from them.

I'm almost tempted to make my grand escape from BSN once the reviews start coming in, cause for some reason, I always end up going into a game with preconceptions based on reviews. And I'm am honestly scared to death, cause my hopes are sky high for these devs and their product.

Judging by all the enthusiastic reviewer tweets, I think that the reviews will be overall positive . And I literally couldn't care less either way, because I have my Inquisitor's Edition pre-ordered, my characters set up and my journal ready to catch it all. Plus, I think I might celebrate by recording some monologues based on my favourite characters in the franchise, and just setting them out there.

 

I am so ready for this.

I only have a passing interest in the reviews myself as there's only a couple of reviewers I follow anyway. I know they'll be (overall) good, just a question of how good. I'm more concerned over sales, as all the great reviews can't make up for the lack of them...

Do game sales follow movie patterns, where it is rare for a big budget movie that doesn't make huge bucks to pick up steam after release week? Or is it different?


Edit: added big budget, because its rare for indies, but that does have a different pattern.

Yeah, I'm still a little nervous though. I think if anyone had any serious issues with the game, we'd have either heard or had some inkling of it by this point, in my opinion. Like you said, it's a question of how good is the game.

I really don't care about reviews. I like to try myself and decide alone.

 

But I know there is a lot of people who trust some reviewers and like to see their opinions before deciding to buy the game or not. And I know how a good or a bad review can impact the sales of any product. So it's important for Bioware and for the game, if we want it going well. I hope everyone likes it.

Well I have a strong feeling it will be good reviews I typically am right when it comes to these things not saying that just because I like what I have seen I am thinking in the general light. Only way it will have negative reviews is people who go in without a open mind you have to go in playing with a clean slate pretty much know the story but dot set your expectations to the point they don't make sense.

 

So people who dislike it are automatically close minded? Wow.

 

Opinions are subjective so long as its an informed opinion, whether to like or not like it, its valid.
