A rift needs to be closed, choose between templar ending, rift closed, fade destroyed no more magic anyone connected to the fade (magicians) die, a red energy wave spreads over Thedas.
Magic ending, rift is sealed and everyone becomes magicians when a green energy wave flows over Thedas.

I could not resist but that wont happen...I hope. Looking forward to E3.

These kinds of articles are frustratingly worse than useless until Bioware actually releases some information. They're random people writing clickbait-y headlines to get links to places like the BSN. 

On the Examiner's website, for example, their writers are paid per [x] amount of pageviews, and so their headlines are the worst kind of sensationalist nonsense. Not that Blair Brown isn't amazing, but "Bioware dev says something on forum" isn't exactly huge breaking news.

The actual speculation at this point is ridiculous, probably even less correct and more incoherent than your average forum thread, but because it's on a website they unfortunately gain some level of credibility.

Just out of curiosity, is that image they're basing their (rather ridiculous) speculations off of even confirmed to have anything to do with DA3's companions? Or is it just random armour designs etc?

I know the first bit of the article touched on that...but still.

It was from an internet market research survey that was being run on some consumer survey sites late last year, I don't remember the exact wording of the question (nobody provided screenshots of the entire survey) but from memory it was something like "what are your opinions of these characters".

The survey did also include a summary/description of four companions - or what everyone assumed were companions - some of which seem to be among the artwork in that other section. So, we don't know if every character in the artwork is a companion (I'd think that's probably unlikely?) but it looks like some of them are. It certainly looks like the same art style that Matt Goldman has used for character concepts in the past.

At the time, a lot of people figured that two black/red robed figures were actually alternate versions of the player character, the Inquisitior, and a lot of other concept art since then has featured a character with a prominent red cloak.

Oh that sucks for them. 
Even though the power only go out like once a year where i live i still spam the save button like crazy after i've done even moderate changes to something. I'm way too terrified to lose work.

Those concept arts can only be seen in World of Thedas, which claims to only have DA:O and DA2 concept arts. Also, 2 of the "proposed" companions can be seen in the original DA2 story that never happened (watch the making off of DA2 videos on the official website to see what I mean).

So either BioWare is recycling abandonned ideas for DAI or those are old and not related to DAI­.

Sera: Sera is young, frenetic, and a brat through and through. She revels in the athleticism of being an elf, of being different. But her culture isn’t elven, or, for that matter, strictly human. It’s the underbelly of the city. In her network of rogues, what you do is more important than where you’re from, and friends open more doors than [titles?]. Robs from the rich, keeps it.

She also pops up in DA3 concept art of the elven aravals, for that matter. So, yeah, they probably are using abandoned ideas in the next game.

Where was it said that World of Thedas only contains concept art from DAO or DA2? That's got to be inaccurate. There's a whole heap of environmental concepts that they've used elsewhere in blog posts about DA3 art, and other screenshots they showed off at PAX.

Heck, one of the Ferelden concept art pieces in World of Thedas is a figure in a red cloak holding up a giant Inquisition symbol.

I take it to mean that all the concept arts, yes including the ones with a character using this symbol, have been created for DAO and/or DA2.

The book could have "never before seen concept art from DA:O and DA2." And then also still have concept art from DA3. There isn't an inherently exclusive nature about the statement that would make that a false statement.

After all, they have concept art for locations such as Tevinter, Orlais and Nevarra - places that DA:O and DA2 were never intended to exist in.

That description is pretty meh... I'm hoping that character either got reworked or cancelled.That "robs from the rich keeps it" just makes her elven Isabela.
