The game is massive. Like, bigger than most any single-player game I've played. The FIRST area is about as big as most open world games.

Man, everything about the game is huge, even the reviews. These guys have A LOT to say about DAI.

 

The biggest problem with the reviews as a consumer is that the Hype Train has officially reached Ludicrous Speed. Not everyone can handle that level of Hype unscathed.

 

I know I didn't, I'm starting to have the jitters for some dragon age fix, with how excited I am. So much so that I ended up buying an Xbox One and preordering it on there just so I can play it a bit earlier on EA Access. All despite already having preordered the Inquisitor Edition for PC months back.

 

Not that I'm complaining, mind you, I was planning on getting a new XBox anyway.

Huh? Mine still says it's coming out the 18th....I mean it still doesn't have an expected delivery date but the books page and the one with my order say the 18th

So the major concerns atm are:

Merchants being less useful
Horses could be improved
Minor bugs and clipping issues
Seems overwhelming (Someone placed this as a con, go figure)

*Thats* it? These are all very, very minor. We are talking nitpicking tbh. Some of the cons are actually hidden compliments (like story slow to take off and the game feeling overwhelming).

Knowing David frequents tumblr (insert mandatory *shudder*)... I'm guessing tumblr saw sumething in the Ars Technica review that could be considered a light spoiler for a certain character's romance arc. So read that review at your own perril.
