Seems Origin is doing a coupon offer if you pre-order DAI with them. I don’t have details, but that is pretty cool!

Can someone explain the current thread title to me? I feel left out.
It's a riff on the #Gamergate nonsense. "Actually, it's about ethics in games journalism" has become a meme.

I don't have a clue about what Gamergate is, so...

It's the Orlesian Kirkwall.
Nuh-uh! It has woods. And pig farmers. Did Kirkwall have pig farmers?

I liked How To Train Your Dragon 2, a lovely movie about flying cats. Can't wait for How To Train Your Dragon: Inquisition

I really disagree, but to each his own.
It's unlikely that we'll ever get a Throne of Bhaal style-expansion in future because it was basically a massively pared-down sequel.

@Eudaemonium : Never know... I doubt it too, but considering a lot of there stuff has been influenced with how Skyrim has handled things - not really copying but how its 'changed the face or RPG's. They had 2 rather large expansions. It wouldn't surprise me to much if BioWare released 20 dollar expansions involving a completely new singular open world hub area complete with quests and over arching plot in the area.
Personally I'm hoping for some cheap DLC involving new skill trees for more playthroughs.

check out the skill discussion thread.
If you check out the 22min IGN impressions vid on youtube and fastforward to the end you will see a high level vivienne in action. It sold me on the knight enchanter (looks wicked)

To sum up though... The knight enchanter seems to be a hybrid support tank.. . When you attack in melee range the spirit blade generates barrier on yourself. You also have a wicked blink type spell giving you great mobility to get into that melee range. You can fade out of existence (making you invulnerable for 2 secs and can rematerialise inside some enemy causing massive damage and knocking them over. Also you have the only real heal spell in the game. All in all a pretty wicked spec

You probably don't even want to know what spawned that. Most random conversation chain (of awesomeness) ever.
But I'm largely at fault.

I probably could have guessed that... if I had been guessing. I totally wasn't, though. Nope.

ethics is nonsense? oh, well, okay, I guess we'll just have to make due with bought game reviews and non-game-related-editorials-masquerading-as-news all over game journalism websites, behind-the-scenes collusion, reviewers financially supporting developers, having relationships with them, and accepting gifts from them... You know, game journalism sites being pretty well useless for anything of substance

I'm not the one who brought it up. The one who changed the topic title did. It bothers me when someone brushes off a legitimate problem as "nonsense."
Yea let's not have the GG discussion here, it always leads to the thread being shutdown.
I know. That's why I'm not going to say anymore on it. Did everyone really think that invoking something incendiary in the topic title was just going to go over smoothly? I mean, honestly.

So I wonder what those crazy devs are tweeting... *checks* nothing. Now we play the waiting game ... until Hrungr wakes then we just wait for the tweets to appear on here 0.000013 of a second after the dev tweets.
