I won't be able to play DAMP, but I'm sure it'd be really annoying to play through the game and have one guy just loafing around instead of doing his part.  Especially if he still got part of the loot

 

This. If your teammate is lazing or Leroys all over the place and makes the match that much harder for the rest of the team there should be an option to kick them mid-match so they can't ruin other people's MP experience.

 

Also the ability to kick cheaters (because there're always going to be cheaters) and general ***holes is always a plus IMO. There've been couple times when I've actually quit a ME3 MP match because of jerks or because the match started with a rocket glitcher - and lost all of my one-use gear in the process. It's so annoying to lose stuff you've earned just because other people decide that acting like a decent human being is somehow beneath them, glad to see this won't be the case with DAMP, at least. I don't think I've ever kicked anyone in the lobby for being low level... or if I have, it's been because they've had a level 10 or lower character and we've been playing on Platinum/Gold.

 

Vote-kicking can be abused, sure, but I would say that the chances that 3 out of 3 people turn out to be trolls in a co-op MP are slim... or then I have just been incredibly sheltered in my MP experiences. Also, if the people who kick you kick you because "lol n00b" / for some other equally dumb reason, why would you want to play with them in the first place?

My experience with MEMP on pc was pretty good. I'm mostly a casual player (didn't go above silver for awhile) and experienced little trolling or had bad experiences. The only thing that stands out was some abusive French guy, but he left after the game ended anyway. Anyway, I suspect that having the ability to kick players mid game for whatever legitimate reasoning is good, as opposed to waiting for the game to end first (or leave yourself). I expect the pc community will be mostly well behave again.

Kinda disappointed that the devs have included an in-match vote-kick. Really surprised, actually. That crap is going to get all kinds of abused.

 

If you get kicked unfairly you simply leave without losing the loot you have accumulated.

If you have a troll in your party everyone loses, so the ability to kick by team consent is valuable.

And if people do kick you for unfair reasons, then its a safe bet that they're arseholes and you wouldn't want to be playing with them anyway.

Secondly if there was anyone wondering, I asked Mike Laidlaw if you could have highlights in your hair, I wanted to ask because I wanted to make a Dwarf with spatterings of Grey Hair.

You know, fade from tip to scalp, evenly spread out strands for that mix look or stuff on just the front or singular streaks. Either way, they just got 1 color slider. Don't think any of the hair have built in streaks.

Yeah the answer was no, it's no loss, but I just thought it could be fun so you could create one of them silver foxes or a Reed Richards-ish character and especially with the slider for inner and outer eyes.

I presume the lack of highlights is why Blackwall doesn't have the grey in his hair and beard that he has in his portrait. Maybe they'll nail it in future games.
