I actually see it as a positive sign so far because I hate heavy exposition and handholding and games can be particularly bad at that. lol: we will see though!

Yes, I prefer that as well, as I actually know the story and characters all ready.  I was just pointing out that it seemed to be more a matter of the reviewers disliking the presentation of that back story, rather than them disliking the fact there was back story.  It's something that's going to (potentially) bother someone new to the series a lot more people who have played the other DA games, but if that's how the reviewers felt about the presentation, it is a  perfectly fine thing for them to draw issue with.

Story achievenments have different description now, although not too heavy, they vaguely mentions how you get the achivement more than just saying "progress the story to unlock this".

That is a good question and I have no idea. Some of these skills and upgrades need a little better read out on exactly how they work.

Honestly, having watched the Prologue, if the game just gets better as it goes on I'm not worried at all.
