Oh I DO so hope they make the logo/cover picture t-shirts available for purchase at some point.  I've been envious with every con picture that they've posted while wearing them.

Suspect we won't make *those* shirts specifically (they're usually short runs for the particular event),but if you post in the feedback/suggestions forum, Community likes hearing about what kind of merch people will buy! The cover art *is* pretty great. Me, I like shirts with little design elements (like the Inquisition eye) over "poster shirts", but YMMV.

Wait, what?

This is in reference to a blooper reel (usually from QA). I really hope we actually end up releasing some of these publicly.

Don't they use some kind of version control so they could just revert back to version before the bug filled update?

To clarify, she meant the blooper folder was created.
But still a good question! If a"bad" build is created, like a bunch of brokenness got submitted for whatever reason, this is why QA does Build Verification Testing (BVT). We go through the latest build and verify that it's stable and suitable both for testing and development use. If it isn't, QA doesn't "pass" it, so the latest Verified build is (almost) always good to use.

(edit) Further, we do also indeed have version control as well, which is used when applicable as you describe and in other fascinating and complex  and sometimes frustrating ways.

Awww, missed Barrett's hope crushing reply before posting.

This gif is still entirely applicable to the blooper vids content.

I don't think they have. This channel is new.

We did a few streaming sessions for ME3MP a few times, I think one was an N7 day thing, and a couple times before releasing some of the last MP expansions. Not sure if that was on a different channel though.

Been a rogue his whole life

Quick wit sharp as his knife

That's the 'quis'tor I shall play!

I believe that the demo is for the multiplayer, so I think we'll be picking a character instead of choosing a gender, here.

Correct.  What you see is Billy Buskell and Scylla Costa prepping the DAMP demo.

Cheers,

MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

Conal probably has enjoyed most of the other voice actor reveals rather than the Alex Wilton Regan one.

Actually, that one was pretty fun to film, to tell you the truth. Alix is a real sweetheart and was really polite about the whole thing. Later on when we were doing the sit down interview, I had to turn around and face the other way because she couldn't help laughing when she saw me.

Even the term "person of colour" is kind of offensive too, actually. White is a colour as well, just as black is (not to mention that white people aren't really 'white', and black people aren't really 'black'). Why are black people 'coloured', and white people aren't?

Or is it that black people are 'coloured' to white people because they're non-white, so white people are entitled to call them 'coloured', and vice versa for black people being entitled to call white people 'coloured'?

I suspect it has some degree of legacy and history, but given that members of the group have shared that it's an acceptable term to use for non-white ethnicities, it's the one I try to go with when it comes up.

I just wanted to give that clarification and as Typhrus hinted at, it's probably best not discussed here.

lots of sites. Or add an additional clock for the time in Edmonton in windows

That actually wouldn't do a lot of good for this specific example. The time listed in that tweet was PDT. Edmonton is currently in MDT.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

Obviously the twitch stream contains hella spoilers for seeing combat, character generation, at least 1 level, enemy types, tactical cam.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

So if you want to remain entirely unspoiled on the contents of Dragon Age: Inquisition (especially that main menu, oh my), do not watch!

- It's far, far to late for that warning Jos... ;)

That warning was for casual twitter followers, not you invested forum-going awesome peoples.

It just goes to show how long a day it's been. I read that thinking, "Okay, so he's gonna follow that up with some mind-blowing DAI tweet."

Wait....

Wait...

Wait...

The follow up tweet would be 100% spoilers and people would lynch me.

I don't really have a problem with the direction DA:I combat has gone, but...

He keeps referencing heals and spam together as if they're inherently bound concepts.  You can have healing spells tuned with cooldowns such that you still have to deploy them tactically, and are unable to "spam" them...

Uh, that is *exactly* what happens in-game. As many many many others have said before, healing isn't gone; it's just no longer nearly as prevalent as it once was, and combat/exploration has been entirely redesigned around this.

A lot of the convos got butchered in this thread since I last posted so most of them are now one sided, kinda weird that one would get deleted and not the other.

I encourage people to use the ignore feature if they find a poster annoying.  This thread has struggled to stay on topic the past few pages enough as it is.

I haven't updated/upgraded my home PC in... ~4 years I think? Still runs awesome, but it's past due for something awesome again.

Around four years? Oh geez now I feel bad. Mine hasn't been updated for near on ten years....

Dang! I couldn't live like that, haha. Most PC gamers I know at least significantly update if not fully replace every 2 years. Madness.

I'm pretty sure my current rig will be close to what I predict DAI's recommended specs will be, but seeing how gorgeous this game is I gotta knock it out of the park.
