The manager at my local GameStop mentioned something about the 6th as well. Maybe EA is going to have something as part of that GameTrailers special on Spike. It would make sense, they did it last year, previewing the what was coming up at E3 this year...

I'll level with ya, it's been a LONG year, I had just started a new job then, so I really do not remember anything about it. I think it was more just quick flashes, Geoff Keighly talking about the KNOWN things, and that was about it. I'm sure this year we'll get some games for the new consoles, too.

Or that wasn't a slip of the tongue/thumb by EA and they will be featured and we will get more than a quick glimpse of it.

*EDIT* Per Wikipedia, last year they showed off Star Wars 1313, Guardians of Middle-Earth, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Dishonored, and Tomb Raider.

Anyways, it makes sence the PR people will be at E3, and what I have read and seen about mr Aaryn Flynn I believe he can sell this product! More then able..

^ it was about a month before release of DA2 and to my knowledge a lot of people were in anticipation about some news/trailers/information regarding DA2. It build up, everyone excited and on feb 1st?.. Nothing happened and then the outrage came..

The flyer that came with DA:origins was the reason I believe: its stated Feb 1st there will be some big news and a lot of people, me included, assumed it was DA2 related, which it wasnt..

That's from EA's quarterly financial earnings call, which was almost a month ago - and before the Xbox One reveal.

I'm not going to rule out anything in terms of DA at E3, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a playable demo. The team have been working on something for the presentation, and since it's being developed at Edmonton I don't think it'd be a trailer.

That certainly seems to be the general belief. I'm not sure I've seen it confirmed though.

I think that even if they do show just a general CGI trailer at E3, they will quickly follow up with information as opposed to waiting for long periods of time. I suspect they're trying to prevent the problems they had with DA2's marketing--we went for AGES without seeing anything concrete. Sure, they said certain things ,but we didn't see the game for a few months after the announcement. But I suspect there will be more than just a CGI trailer. This is how I interpret their "show-don't-tell" mantra we've been hearing from them for a while now.

On the one hand I understand them being more reserved w/PR hype. After DA2 and ME3.

At this point tho, I confess to getting a lil bit suspicious. Like, is there something going on that you all are ..hesitant to tell us abt?
