Wait. So the 30fps lock isn't getting fixed? And we don't even have proper mod support to handle the issue ourselves? Oh this is just great.

Will at least the microstutter that's being caused by this be fixed?

Gotta love the times. Machines that can push 144fps getting locked to 30. *sigh*

Mike said they might look to fix the 30fps lock, there is a fan "fix" but it screw up MP and a few other things.

I saw someone with microstutter that fixed his/her problem by shutting down MSIAfterburner OSD. Also, update your drivers both ATI and Nvidia release news ones yesterday. I personally do not have any, but the only thing running on my PC is the game (and Origin) when I play.

I really expect it to be, i really like the AC series but even though i went to every island, collected every collectible and did every side mission it was so underwhelming when come sunday evening i was down to just 2 legendary ships and re-doing a few mission to get 100% sync on the game.

Wow, that sucks :( I hope the problem gets resolved so your download can continue.

It was a problem with my DNS settings apparently, even though it was downloading fine an hour previously o_O Into character creation now and it's intimidatingly complex. I think I'll leave it to tomorrow when I'm not so tired.

I hope by Friday everyone is at least able to buy/download DA:I wherever you live, even if some people won't be able to play for a while afterwards :)

I'm barely into the game, but I've had two conversations with her and already it's astounding how much she's changed.  But not in a bad way, it feels like a natural progression.

And Cullen too!  He's...so much different.  Kirkwall changed him.

AAH I NEED TO BE PLAYING THIS GAME NOT IN CLASS.

Leliana shocked me. Varric too. It's like..these people have seen things, experienced things that have changed them in a very tangible way. I like. Even if Leliana depresses the **** out of me.

Change DNS to google, for some reason it works. (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) since you use a different server to pull store purchases from.

I was sceptical as well, but yeah it actually worked.

Please keep posting and sharing feedback on DA:I. We're actively investigating fixes where appropriate, and the more info the better.

What would be the best platform for such feedback? Twitter, the BSN... ?

Twitter, our forums - honestly, though, we're pulling feedback from across the 'net. It it's a gaming forum, we're reading it

I got Cullen. (the one I personally have been least intetested in)

*sigh*

Maybe my F!Dalish made me take that flirt option last night for a reason.

(And I'd rather be home playing, even if it is on my old rig, even if it is on medium settings, and even if it IS only at 20 fps, than be at work today)

Josephine.  Guess that solves my Josie v. Sera debate...

@eplerjc Where's the best place to report? Just tweeting responses to devs or the feedback forums? Not really an official thread

@Gladion20 We're also reading other major gaming forums - a lot of stuff gets posted there that's been pretty illuminating.

I killed my first nug..its dying squeek was so sad :(

Also I was killing rams, and saw a bigger animal, thought oh they might have good materials, 15 arrows into one and it took one notch of its guard down.  I ran away as fast as possible, especially when his buddy came from behind and attacked me.

It's on my Xbone waiting for me to get home from work on Friday. I might get up an hour early Friday morning so I can get the game started before I go to work. Need to be out to work for 5:30 am though but I'll be home for 12:20 pm.

Were we still supposed to get the coins, and was there still a secret compartment or something????

There are lots of threads about the Inquisitor's Edition.... mostly about broken or missing items.  I guess you need to look around some more - try the feedback subforum?

GamerMD83 posted an unboxing vid today; was entertaining to see her enthusiasm. And Yes; the bottom tray lifts out to reveal much more, it seems. Enjoy!

For sure.  I'm also not a great judge (years of having to settled for 20-25 fps on my poor computer to play Counterstrike makes me pretty tolerant to frame rate drops) for whether or not it was really noticeable in a negative way.  Hopefully it's not an issue for those more tuned to higher frame rates.

Allan,

It is extemely noticable and nausiating to watch. I would appreciate it if this was looked into and fixed. I sympathize with you that this would be a lot of work but it is really not acceptable when the standard for monitors is 60 hz with a push towards 120. I'm sure you'll agree that it's rather poor practice to hard code an upperlimit on frame rate and depending on that throughout your code, when refreshrates/framerates aren't a static value throughout your consumer base.
