I know the pain of that choice... Still undecided myself with like 10 hours spend in the game (most of them on the prologue and talking to people in Haven).

I'm loving the game but it just keeps crashing every few minutes! I enter a cutscene, crash, I try to fast travel, crash, I move too quickly, crash and it's just horrible and I don't know what to do anymore :< it took me four tries to get through character creator and to the point where I could save..

It's not just Varric for me, its everyone I talk to, but for me it seems they only do about two or three and then they stop.  I'm on PS3

Are you going to claim that you didn't see any problem with the terrible interface, or that the UI team was so incompetent to both not realize it nor heed your warning ?

No I'm not harsh. That you're not bothered by it (if you even play on a PC...) doesn't change the objectively terrible PC UI which is completely bonkers for mouse + keyboard.

Objectively me, considering that the way the UI works makes no sense with a mouse and is designed for a pad.

If we're going to speak about wishes what I kinda wish is for people to stop confusing "I'm fine with it" with "it's well-done". The interface wastes ton of space, is uninformative, doesn't use the ability of mouse to click at a specific part of a screen, have the mouse stops working sometimes, have very limited camera movements, etc.

 

You may not be annoyed by such shortcomings (and that's good for you), but it doesn't make them go away.

QA do not fix bugs, but we sure do report them. Also, this is not the thread for this discussion, there are many others open on the topic already.

Okay guys.....I'm 3 days in playing on my cruddy laptop (which to be honest I was suprized was even able to RUN the game) that averages about 20 fps (medium settings, except for mesh on high, tessalation on low, and MSAA x2).

 

I have yet to leave the Hinterlands, haven't even gotten all the camps set or the rifts closed  (Shards, Astrariums, notes.....they are all distracting me from the main quest!!!)...this game is HUGE!

 

My new laptop arrives tomorrow.

 

Should I:

1) Play DAI tonight on my cruddy laptop and save the gamefile for this character over to my new laptop tomorrow

2) Not play DAI tonight and start a whole NEW character when I get my new system

 

 

this is assuming I can save the character files over to the new system and continue her mission. Wondering if this is possible?

 

 

 

I apologize if someone already answered this, but if you have cloud saves enabled on your Origin account, you can switch seamlessly between computers with the same character. I am playing on two different computers, depending where I am. Twice as nice!
