I think I just spent an hour and a half in crafting. But my party has new armor I am ready to venture out again!

Never thought I'd get into the crafting aspect but there I was in the Bat Cave outfitting everyone in as much plaideweave as I could. I really do enjoy the crafting.

I don't get this. I mean I've never posted before, and I know that this thread isn't the best place for it, but I don't understand why people try to take away from the things anyone else enjoys about a game. Yeah there's issues, but that doesn't mean people can't consider it awesome.

@r1ck182, Morrigan was always supposed to be much more slight than how she appeared in DA:O. In fact, her appearance notes in DA:O's toolset say "Her body is relatively thin and not strong,"  and her concept art reflected that. Her proportions in that game were the result of limitations presented by the way they built their character models at the time. Male and female characters had the same animation rig and NPC's, especially companions, used the same armor/clothing/base assets that the player characters did. This led to everyone having the same proportions, to the point that female characters had unusually manly shoulder spans (necessary to fit the singular skeleton). DA2 and DA:I have gender-exclusive animation rigs, and companions and other NPC's use their own specific model assets, which allows them to all look unique and match their design concepts more closely.

 

In short, DA:O Morrigan is inaccurate, DA:I Morrigan is how she's supposed to look.

Didn't know about their intention for her to have thinner body in DAO. Thanks for the lesson. My love for her is about her development as character and also about Claudia Black's great work voicing her. And she looks really gorgeous in DAI.

I hope this patch fixes the voice change after meeting you know who. I haven't done a single story mission since "Act 2" because of it. I might cave soon since people are casually slinging spoilers all over the place.

I don't get much banter these days, but I'm more than certain that it's because I've been rolling the same party for a while, and haven't progressed the plot in 30 hours.

Yeah unless they specifically said anywhere and I wasn't paying attention, they just said some platforms would get a patch.

well PC is the only platform that isnt dependant on a 3rd party so it makes sense it can get a patch while others cant

Yeah but Tuesday is console patch day. They might get that one out on Tuesday while they can because they can release a PC patch any day.

the 9th was the original target on all platforms, also, by now tuesday is the standart for everything
