Ooooor...He can't say yet because they're not allowed to release any specific info of that sort on DA3 until E3?

If anything a maybe is more hopeful because they've already said NO about a few features from DA2 or DAO that won't be in DA3. I'm personally not expecting DW Warrior in DA3(though it would be a great surprise!), but to me a maybe sounds more hopefull.

Why would they not be able to share that sort of detail but have been able to share details about setting, companion customization, etc?

Never confirmed any of that, it was all just 'ideas' they had for DA3.

I'm just hoping Mr. Gaider isn't drawing any bittersweet 'inspiration' from last night's infamous "Game of Thrones" episode. Posted Image

But lest I be accused of derailing this thread, I think we're heading into the "closer-it-gets-to-E3-the less-info-we're-gonna-get-tweeted' phase

Lol! well, if and/or when I run into a bug in DA3..I'm gonna remember this tweet.

Ah, this must be the cerveza part..hmm. And then I'll have a swig of my own cervezas and I won't care abt a bug. Ha!

And unfortunately no info on that screen in the background. They know us too well.

It looks like the BSN on there.

yup bugs. I wonder what the acting EA CEO would think about that tweet. Imbibing on the job. No toolkit. Probably no NGplus. Game bugs and liquor.rotfl.

How long does it take you to play DA:O, Awakening and DA:II? Also, any other games in your backlog or in the future you wish to buy? Should make planning easier.

I already did mines though :D. I'm going through Jade Empire right now (and Expeditions Conquistador *sigh* I participated in too many Kickstarters).

Ah, I'm sure it's all good. Sounds like their bosses gave them the goods.

And look at that burrito! That burrito is soaking up more beer than they could ever wish to get. Burritos always hogging the cerveza...<_<

@[person] Actually missed it in my feed. As to your request: DW warrior gets asked for a lot, but is very resource heavy. So: maybe.

*Flails about room sqee'ing*

I don't want to get my hopes up....but I want to get my hopes up :)

Thank you for catching that tweet, I haven't been observing twitter lately.

I think you have to read between the lines a bit more. That's a no. They say the game is coming this year but something like that is still up in the air? They've been talking about how impressive the combat is for at least 3 months so I don't see how it would still be in the cards if it isn't already being implemented.

Yeah, I'd take that as "maybe in future games", rather than "maybe in DA3".

*Stops flailing and goes off to sulk.*  :(

Actually it is confirmed that part of the game takes place in Orlais. Laidlaw have Gaider have both stated as much.
And what possible impact would admitting that they're bringing back DW warriors have on the unveiling?

WOOOOO, another Sprint Review Day!!!!! So stoked! :D

Sooooo, drinking game again?

I'll be driving all day Friday :crying: .. here's hoping they drop all kinds of fun hints, though! I'll catch up on the drinking when I get back to a good internet connection and I can read through them all. I'm probably going to miss E3, as well, but am hoping not.

They've already said it will be open world. They're trying to get the Bethesda/Skyrim fans to buy the game. Yet without a toolkit. lol. Good luck with that. Jose Cuervo next for them. smiles.

They didn't say that. All they said was that they were looking at Skyrim for a bit of inspiration and mentioned that the game spans a much larger area than DA][ and Origins combined. Large game=/=open world.

They did not say it would be open world.

Also, to imply that Skyrim had 10 million+ sales due to a modkit alone, when console players, who account for over 66% of those sales, don't have access to any of those mods, is a little foolish.

I'm not gung ho that they won't be having a modkit, but it is hardly going to be the sole determiner in how the game does.

They clearly implied it was open world. We'll see at 1pm west coast time on the 10th. Spike tv. Plus you will be able to watch online.shrugs. Eeroll, no wait Aaryn, oh whatever Mr Flynn will apparently be doing the reveal as Mikey Laidlaw mysteriously will not be in attendance.rotfl.

They said they were looking at Skyrim's success. As they should - it is an RPG that has outsold the past three Bioware releases COMBINED. They would be insane not to look at why it was successful. They said nothing about making the game open world.

Not that the game will or won't be... but people make these kind of wild assumptions off of one comment. You are simply repeating and regurgitating someone's interpretation of a line that you likely didnt even read yourself in the dirt place.
