Heh, yeah, today is my first time back here since...release day? no, before that. The end of black out. The day reviews went live was the last time I was around, really. I'm trying to avoid spoilers like the plague!

I remember reading that and suddenly shouting to the rest of the team, “HOLY **** WHY DID WE NOT THINK OF THAT??” Alas, we were already too far down the rabbit hole to change direction.

"I believe Ramon Tikaram began recording when we were about halfway through recording the game. Most of Dorian’s personal stuff was completed, but there was still a lot of incidental lines to be written…and, as usual, once I got a feel for the VA’s take on the character, I went back and tweaked some of the dialogue. That’s not unusual — every VA will do certain types of lines better or worse, and their voice will be a little (or a lot) different from the voice you had in your head.

In this case, Ramon was pretty close. We initially had him using more of an East Indian accent, but in the end decided to let him go ahead and use his natural voice — it sounded good, and had a quality all of its own that lended to Dorian’s “otherness”, which I liked."

Has anyone checked out the Art of Dragon Age book yet? I went through chapter one a found it interesting that Blackwall seemingly started out as a Dwarf, and then evolved into a short human male. I think he's shorter than Solas, who is pretty tall for an elf.

Yeah he was a dwarf. Even Vivienne was so beautiful with hair. A shame she shaved it. But still magnificent hats.

Back in the gameinformer coverage from a year ago, I thought he did appear to have a dwarven build. Makes sense now.
