By GOTY terms, DAI is the best game of the franchise, DAO came 4th in 2009 in terms of no. of GOTY awards.
A friendly call out to the devs is also nice as they are the ones doing the work that this forum is anticipating.

That game was bloody great for its time but it had so many glaring design issues. People putting it up on a pedestal while trashing DAI only makes me want to point out all the obvious problems it had. Why must you ruin it for me? WHY!?!?!

If someone thanks people for something positive related to the game does not mean they have become unaware of or forgotten about patching that needs to be done and it is unreasonable to suppose that they have, simply on the basis that they spent 5 mins writing a thank you tweet.

Exactly. What do people expect? For them to say "We wish we could thank people for all the GOTY awards but obviously you guys don't realize how terrible and broken our game is. Thus, we cannot accept any of these!"
No, that's dumb. They're gonna thank everyone for the 100 GOTY awards, because that's what normal people do. It doesn't mean they're all gonna take a nap and forget about the things they need to fix.

I like these stats they're releasing for the game. Hope they'll put out race and class stats as well. Would be interested to see how many people take advantage of the return of playable races.
Yeah, I'm also keen to see whether the qunari ate into the population of dwarves and elves (um, so to speak) or whether more people played non-human in total.
