Hmm... I was hoping they'd fix the Hinterland Mosaic collection bug. Oh well... Will have to wait for the next patch.

Patch 3 will probably be known as "the one with walk toggle."

Hi @Mike_Laidlaw @BioMarkDarrah if there ever will be expansion for DA: I, can your team add Varterrals in it? There was none in DA: I...

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

No promises on when they will be used again, but Varterrals remain part of the world.

@Mike_Laidlaw will we get a storage chest in DA:I and when will we be able to change our appearance in the game?

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

Not in this patch. They are hotly requested features, though, so we're continuing to evaluate.

User

@Mike_Laidlaw what about the performance problem where a lot of newer nvidia cards owners had ? been over 2 months already

(Hrungr: Indeed... but more stability & stuttering for me)

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw

@Yuyunina I haven't been tracking that issue personally, so I can't speak to it. Sorry.

What card are you running, Hrungr?  I have a GTX980 SC and other than running up the stairs at Haven (in front of Varric) I have no stuttering of any kind, anywhere.  Ultra/Fade touched settings 1920x1080 all the way around.

I'm running GTX680 x2 (SLI) on Win7. I usually get stuttering on the first startup of the day requiring a restart and then for some reason it will behave itself for a for a few hours before the stuttering starts again and the inevitable hard crash.

That said, a lot of the community suggestions have been great. :)  When I first had the game, it was nigh unplayable - most of the time I couldn't even get out of the start screen and would crash every hour or so...

That must have been...frustrating.

Guess I've just been stupidly lucky - didn't get the game until after the Patch 2 Hotfix and had read up on all the community suggestions.  Glad things are working well - enough - for you now.

So to the people that have played singleplayer with the newest  patch, does it appear safe to download? No unexpected problems, etc? I have a mod that changes the Skyhold clothes and it'll stop working once I install the patch so I don't want to update for nothing.

I have it working "well enough" now to not go on Godzilla-like rampages anymore ;), but yeah... it still needs to be more stable.

I would keep an eye on this thread: http://answers.ea.co...p/DAInquisition

So far there have been reports about a couple Shield bugs and the Walk Toggle turning on... but not off.

I've been behind on this thread for a while (since around ComicCon, I think), and I just now caught up! I want to thank all the folks who are continuing to keep it updated with tweets and such even though the game is out, you guys are amazing! Finances are tight for me right now, so I still don't actually have the game, but I'm pleased to see that it's been well received by most people. Hopefully by the time I can get my hands on it there will be a few more PC patches in place, so thanks especially to everyone collecting tweets/announcements about those! Happy adventuring, Inquisitors!

You may experience trouble exporting a world state when starting a new game in DA:I. We are investigating the issue & will tweet updates.

EDIT: It looks like you can't import a custom worldstate on new games after the patch.

One definite problem is that shields crafted before the patch lower the overall armour value. However, I have crafted a shield post patch and it seems to behave as you would expect. (Might be helpful if someone else checks this.) Wonder what the return value of a cursed shield is in Skyhold.

The issue from earlier is resolved, & you should be able to export world states again! Please note this was not related to the recent patch.

Nice, ev76! Way to get another person to play this game. I convinced a coworker to play it because of all the stories I would tell about my wild druffalo adventures.
