What did it take to make 2014's GOTY? That's a good question for our upcoming panel at the #BioWareBase
Time to put all those hours of playing #DAI to use!

I think they printed the cover then put it around another book. Still a genius idea.

Pity. Any news from the front?
Only that they don't have any news concerning DLC. Cameron Lee was asked about it yesterday in the twitch chat of the DAMP stream.
Quick check for the confused #PAXSouth audiences... I will always #recruitShale ; who else is with me!

This is either the worst pic ever, or that woman is about 4 ft 5.

A short person can cosplay.
Thinking about it, camera distortion seem unlikely...

Yeah, a very short person can cosplay a tall person. But since the idea of cosplay is ostensibly to look like the character you're portraying, it's not an especially good idea.

That's really rude and dickish! Short people can cosplay tall characters, tall people can cosplay short characters. Using that logic there should be very few Varric cosplayers!

Seriously?
Creating a costume to look like a character has nothing to do with height.

For example, I am a size 10 woman. I *could* dress up as Lynda Carter-era Wonder Woman but that would be a less than successful likeness, even if I nailed every other aspect of the costume, because the body just isn't there.

I really don't see how this is in any way controversial. People come in all different shapes and sizes. One would think the idea is to dress up as a character that your body is a natural fit for. You could dress up as anything you want, of course, but if your body substantially detracts from what you're trying to portray, that also detracts from the effectiveness of the cosplay.
For example, I am a size 10 woman. I *could* dress up as Lynda Carter-era Wonder Woman but that would be a less than successful likeness, even if I nailed every other aspect of the costume, because the body just isn't there.
Because cosplaying is more about showing how you much you love and care for the franchise/character by dressing up as them, it's for fun; not auditions for a movie role.

Here's one argument I never expected to see on BSN. Cosplayer height requirements.
There's no height requirements to do anything. I don't have a problem with an 7 ft tall obese hairy dude dressing up as Morrigan. I would, however, say, it's a really bad fit for his body-type.

So cosplays should be chosen by body type? "I really like Vivienne and would love to cosplay her but I'm too pear-shaped and flat chested." Whatevs.
Ugh sorry OT. Back to tweets.
