People don't talk much about it, but I have a weak spot for the german versions, especially Enchanters. The woman who sings has a really enchanting voice, very full and clear. I am under the spell of her voice. I love it. I certainly recommend at least listening to the german version of Enchanter is nothing else in german.

I spent a month and a half in Germany last November / December near Cologne for a work assignment.  But took a week vacation to Berlin.  Holy Music City.  If you love music, you must go.  Other than plane tickets its not an expensive place to vacation.  I personally cannot stand the German language. I always felt like the guys were secretly casting necromantic spells on me, but I work with mostly men.  Then I met some extraordinarily beautiful and friendly women who interested in helping a lonely US traveler in Germany and I have to say when the women speak German it is sexy as hell.  I'm getting to the German version next.

The German version is very nice.  My favorite version of I am the One by far.   Empress of fire is also very good.  Still prefer Enchanter in French and English.  I absolutely love all 3 versions of Nightengales Eyes, that guitar! probably the english is favorite because of the high note. and Set^ us all free.  gives me chills.

Some additional thoughts. The German version is way better than I expected.  I am the one, Grey Warden, Bard Maker, Rise, & Samson all sound amazing in German.  I really dig all versions.  But I have to say as much as like the english versions, I have to ask why is it mastered so heavy handed.  Seriously, dudes back off the limiter will ya.  Nonetheless, Nick Stoubis' Guitar has blown me away since the first time I walked into the tavern in Haven.  And Elizaveta what more can be said she is just amazing to sing French, English, and German with great skill and she is Russian.  Seriously!   What a phenom.

Sorry to hear that David Gaider's shutting down his blog. I've been avoiding it lately because of potential DAI spoilers, but I really enjoyed his series on writing in video games. Hopefully he'll write again sometime in the future!

That's a good tip. I'll try it some time.

In my previous playthrough I mostly used a fully upgraded healing mist. Being able to revive and heal multiple companions at the same time is quite useful.
