I will cry tears of happiness if that were to happen. However, if they had DLCs that could happen during the game and an Expansion meant for post game, that would be pretty neat too. Bioware's DLCs (character wise) keep getting more and more content with each game that they release, so I'm really looking forward with what they do with DA:I.
Mark Darrah ruled out an expansion the size of Awakening, I suspect for the same reason that they eventually cancelled Exalted March:
"Although he wasn't able to confirm anything, DLC will likely be comprised of sandboxes -- large new areas that players can wander around and complete a main quest in, but also find sidequests for. There isn't going to be another expansion like Awakening though, sadly. Darrah said that it was "far too much work, and very expensive, as everything has to interact with the original game.""
If I had to guess, one of the DLCs will be based around exploring Serault and its surroundings.
