Hopefully BioWare does all the design work (or it's just multiplayer stuff). There's definitely a quality gap in the stuff they do internally over things done by the ancillary studios.

I hope it's a DA novel, though I'm certain I'd pick it up regardless.

I'm certainly glad I was late to the ME3 party.  Played it for the first time with all DLC released and loved every second of it. 

 

Probably why I see it with rose-tinted glasses compared to those who played it on release

 

Perhaps unsurprisingly, ME3 is exactly the game I had in mind.

I would have tried SWTOR but no Playable Jawas and more importantly no playable Jedi Jawas,

And honestly Shadow Realms looked pretty crap right from the start... Stick with singleplayer Bioware..

Most such game site comments threads confuse me 

 

With a new IP coming I'd like to see BioWare settle into a release pattern that supports quality releases of

around 2.5 years between releases on the same engine, 3.5 years for new engines.

 

So I would expect 'ME4' in the Spring of 2016.

I would expect DA4 in the Spring of 2017.

 

If the notions of a remastered ME trilogy prevail, it would make perfect sense to release that in late 2015 to lead into the next one.

 

There's no way to know when the 'new IP' will drop.

Three franchises gives BioWare a sustainable business cycle as well...
