According to Twitter, he apparently PM'd another dev besides David about the same thing.

 

And, fascinatingly enough, he PM'd me as well the other day... also about that exact same thing.

 

Which left me vastly confused as I am neither a dev or a mod. 

 

Have I... have I ascended to some sort of weird semi-mod dev-friend status or something, with none of the power but all of the blame? It was last week's DAMP stream, wasn't it? I'm less than six degrees of separation from the devs, therefore PM me with complaints about their game content.

 

I am not quite sure how to feel about this.

Maybe they thought you had a direct line to the Devs so they'd take it seriously.

 

I'd settle just for being known enough that people remembered me, including Devs after we talk

Effective armour. I think this would be end-game armour since it looks so bulky.

 

 

Just for comparison low level gear is a g-string and a small piece of cloth just covering the nipples. XD

LOL, that's just the writers in full GM mode.  "What, your character's greatest fear in becoming undead, hmm?"  Yup, vampires next session guaranteed.  "Oh, wait, your cleric has been praying for divine guidance, well..."  YUP, time to kill a lich with an underpowered party because your god said so.   NEVER, NEVER tell a GM (or a writer for a game) what you really want or don't want for your character.  It will end up being much worse than you could imagine (and TPK is the easy way out- although I seem to remember carrion crawlers at level 4 not offering another option).

Ahh there's nothing more fun than causing pain to PC's. Oh you have had a fun night? A doppelganger drugs and kidnaps you while your in the tub, then poses as you so they can get to the rest of the group so they can sacrifice everyone to their "god"

I think D. Gaider made an entire post on his now deleted tumblr that tackled the subject of polyamory and how it will likely never be depicted in a BioWare game

Although I too would like another Isabela. She was my second favorite character in DA2 after Aveline.

He would share interesting bits of the development process or answer the odd lore question. I was intending to ask him about wther the Chasind and/or Avvar had developed metalworking or if they traded or what.

 

What triggered that decision? Because tumblr being tumblr, I'm going to assume it was an influx of vitriolic messages from people who forget they're talking to someone who is also a person, and/or people trying to win the 'I'm More Ethical Than You' game.

 

Even if he was no longer willing and/or able to read through the messages, I would have liked the answers he did give kept for posterity. :c
