Oh right, Jana...

I had Blackwall with me when I met her so I thought I'd get some quick approval points if I encouraged her to be a warden. At the time, it just seemed like a little choice that wouldn't have any impact at all...but then I got to Adamant and...yeeeeeeeeah. Sorry bout that.
I always recruit her, even the very first playthrough, i was like hmm..no I want skyhold to be like Suikoden GIVE ME ALL THE PEOPLE!!!!
What's the point in fixing exploits? I dont use them, as I'm on console, but it seems to me if people want to cheat you ought to just let them and focus on fixing more important issues like how everyone wants an auto attack or some more hotkey thingies. I guess it's an important issue for them, since they seem to take care of those things asap, but it doesn't make sense to me as being important enough right now to bother fixing.
They see it as a bug which just happens to be an exploit so they fix it. I assume they do the same for all possible exploits.
Im a Bioware fangirl, but my guess? Took it out and decided to slap a price on it instead. Free content was way too good to be true.
No reason at all to think that way. First, they wouldn't have made a public announcement about giving free stuff if they thought that way, after all it's not as if it would occur to them that they could make money on additional content just after they made that announcement. They are not stupid, and announcements like this are not made on a whim. Furthermore, making such a statement and then reneging on it would create a storm of resentment and hatred. BioWare and EA know it as well as any of us, like I said - they are not srupid. So why make that statement in the first place and then turning back from it, when the storm can be avoided by simply keeping quiet? Second, there's already a precedent of patches containing additional free new content in an EA game - namely in the Sims 4, so it's not unheard of.
Please guys, think reasonably about what you are saying. And if a conclusion doesn't make sense, don't jump to it, even if the EA-Hate-Wagon tells you to do so.
My guess? There were probably some problems with it that needed some additional work, and they decided to delay the BE release.

Yeah, me too. There was only one agent I could not bring myself to recruit.

So, hey, I didn't see any tweets about this from the BioWare folks, but my PS4 just got prompted to download and install a patch/update specifically for DAI.
So, Patch 5 out already?
Yeah, my PS4 downloaded the update as well. But no Black Emporium.
Yeah, my PS4 downloaded the update as well. But no Black Emporium.
There's suspicion that may have been pushed to a later patch, such as Patch 6. The update blog listed these patch notes, of which Black Eporium is missing...
The upcoming Patch 5 for Dragon Age: Inquisition contains a number of improvements to gameplay and stability, as well as some new features. We’ve added party storage to the Undercroft at Skyhold and the ability to adjust the size of subtitles.
Below you will find a full list of changes and additions for all systems.
PC Specific: While we’ve added the ability to toggle mouse look, this feature is still under development and does not act optimally under all conditions. We are continuing to work on this feature to improve it for future releases.

Fixing exploits before other issues does not mean they are a higher priority, it is more likely that those exploits are easier to fix and therefore there is no point in holding back until major issues are fixed.
We would still be waiting for the first patch otherwise.
Have they fixed the bug where if you conscript the templars, the Ser Barris' war table missions dont appear?
Maybe that's not a bug?
@Mike_Laidlaw I thought the patch 5 included the black emporium?
Black Emporium is separate from Patch 5. We beta tested them together, however as BE depends on added Patch 5 functionality.
BE being separate I can understand, but the Patch seems to be missing Auto-attack. Pushed to Patch 6 I guess. No biggie as I'm waiting for DLC to replay.
So when exactly are we going to get BE?

Thanks so much for mentioning this! Woo-hoo!The Under Her Skin bug on xbox one seems to be fixed. I completed the quest after I got the patch today when I couldn't until then.
Old news but clarification:

It makes sense if the fix is so easy that adding it was a relatively small effort.
