Mixed feelings.  Really enjoyed david's work with DA but I really enjoyed Patrick's work too both from ME...though not sure what he did for Inquisition exactly?  

 

He was responsible for DAI's mind, body, and spirit - that is, Solas, Bull, and Cole.

So personally I think the future for DA looks good indeed.

 

ALSO WHAT'S WITH THE PLAID HATE

I made Cole an off-class (heavy?) armour set using plaidweave and Dalens Wool to make him look like a backwards lumberjack, and it is hilarious every time I see him.

(Serious his off-class armour model is him wearing the shirt backwards, check it out)

David did some of Cass after Jennifer left and Dorian.

 

Though as for writing quests and that I have no idea.

 

He wrote "Here Lies The Abyss". Which, as we all know, had a fluffy bunny choice at the end that was not awful and horrible to make at all.

I went for my history with Alistair as a Warden because I read that he has more screen time that way. I didn't know about the final choice between Warden-friend and Hawke.

 

Not sure if it was the best decision (the choice at the end of the quest was seriously one of the hardest decisions I've had to make in a BioWare game) or the worst one (My favorite Hawke is dead.... fml ... ) in DAI.

 

At least Alistair is alive...

I had a choice between my beloved 'canon' Hawke and Stroud, and Hawke still ended up left behind .

 

It was a really interesting roleplaying moment for me - for a second, I wasn't thinking 'what will my Inquisitor do?' but 'what would Hawke do?' And the answer was obvious. There's just no way she'd let the man who saved her sister's life die and miss out on fighting the giant spider demon. Varric's reaction was just awful - I've never felt so bad about doing something in a video game.

 

... uh, anyway, I will stop derailing the thread now! How about those Tweets?

Thanks for great stories David.  You will be an asset on your new role, that's for sure.  You leave my favorite game franchise in good hands.  After all, it was Patrick who wrote Mordin Solus and the Cure of the Genophage, probably the highlight of the ME series which, in turn, is one of the best science fiction stories ever told, IMHO.
