In the post that magically vanished he said he had about 1TB of raw DRAGON AGE E3 capture footage

This is much more definite :P

Demo, maybe? With... dragons.

Did he say capture footage or capture data? Not that it makes much difference, I guess, since I don't see why anyone would record 1TB of pre-recorded videos or trailers.

don't remember.... I only know I was totally psyched when I read "1TB of dragon age E3 something" :innocent:

What the heck is dance academy and why is yhere 3 of it #realda3 #da3

[Andre is a level designer at Bioware]

^ Dance Academy is actually a great show! One of the most successful Australian kids dramas in years. The third season starts in July.

#DA3

It have started. BioWare will try to make da3 the only real da3 on tweeter. Go BioWare!

Although, I suspect Dance Academy 3 is totally oblivious to the existence of the competition for attention at this point. Oh and it might give DA3 new players by reaching into the untapped dance fans market.

edit:
Lurking in Chris Pickford tweeter I found my new favorite website: http://developerexcuses.com

I'm so going to use this at work.

4 days till #DA3 is at E3!! Team has done a wonderful job. Which characters do you hope to see?

I wonder if he's just being a tease? Or if they actually plan to show us more characters than just the protagonist?

Perhaps they will show some gameplay and in game footage as well? Maybe a playable demo for the press?

Can't believe all this is happening hours after I have the most important meeting of my life... I hope both go well, would be such a relief. :)

I think the original statement was that they were looking at Skyrim's exploration and sense of scale, "a more open world", not necessarily *the* open world as it works in that game.

In fact, Jonathan Perry has suggested that one level in DA3 is as big as all of DA2's levels. This certainly implies that Inquisition has discreet area levels and individual maps, there'd be no sense in distinguishing 'one level' otherwise.

That's hardly an accomplishment seeing as most of DA2's levels were the same.

I seriously think people ignore the diversity in maps in Dragon Age2. There are reapting dundeons yes, but all of Kirkwall, most of Sundermount and the deep roads are unique. All those levels together is genuinelly quite large, there are more unique levels than repeating.

Um...DA2's DeepRoads assets were constantly reused as well.  You obviously did not do the Bonepit quests or the one opened cave in Sundermount.

Well someone has to stand behind the PC as the camera slowly pans around  Image IPB

I think the obvious person we're going to see is definitely Cassandra, but maybe they'll show more.

The actual Deep Roads section you enter as part of the Expedition at the end of Act 1 is a unique area. It only gets used once more for either Nathaniel's quest or Fool's Gold, that other Secondary quest you get in Act 2 if Nathaniel is dead. But then, you're specifically following your old route through the Deep Roads.

Not really. We go to the exact same areas of kirkwall, at least 16 times at a minimum. Not to mention the foundry twice, and the warehouse, how many times did we go to the same warehouse? Sundermount!?!!?!? The CAVE, that's all i'm going to say about that...

Well if you are actually going to the same area in game, then its not going to Change. All of the selectable areas of Kirkwall on the map as well as selectable sunder mount and deep roads is all unique, don't play dumb. Visiting the same in fame geographical area doors not make it copy pasted. The Cave sure, the foundry, nope

Let's maybe not argue about DA2 areas? Instead think of the pending news flood and search for good tweets. xD

Good news everyone! I'm getting a tooth pulled Tuesday morning.

Which means I get to stay home from work, leave the baby with the sitter, and watch E3 coverage and obsessively refresh the forums all day!

Not that I don't do that at work too, but now I don't have to be all twitchy and ninja-like about it.

Definitely Cassandra. Merrill, too.

I'm tired of seeing Isabella, Varric and Alistair so hopefully anyone else that I would be pleasantly surprise to see.

Hmm... They're showing characters..? Is it already that time when you have to decide whether to scour the internet for every clue or crawl under a rock to avoid spoilers?

Like really hot surfers with an edge.
I'm sure it's not really like this ( well I hope so , because if this is the case I'm wasting my life right now...)

Nope, you're definitely wasting it - Australian blokes are amazing. I would have stayed, but luckally Swedes are a treat as well.

This.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see new (or old!) companions. But Flemeth is who I hope for.

I think for sure we will see Cassandra, Leliana, Alistair and Cullen because of plot reasons.

But i hope to see Morrigan, Sten and Isabela.

And maybe, just maybe, a little teaser of the Warden and Hawke...

3 threads that looks like Trolls have mastered writing , in just 2 hours.
I may be paranoid but it feels like IT has begun.

(And Again IT will be Morrigan! She will probably voice the trailer or something ...)

Agreed. Though at this point, it's been so long since any news whatsoever that Sandal could shriek "Enchantment!" through every video and I'd be happy.
