Looks like they finally fixed it...
Multiplayer Weekend Event (March 13 – 16)

Mission: Druffalo Hunt (March 13 – 16)
To all Inquisition Field Agents,
The Skyhold Barbecue has been approved! Now, we need everyone to pitch in and help with provisioning. In order to feed all the troops, pilgrims, and refugees in the valley, we will require, as Commander Cullen put it, "All the druffalos." Please do all you can to assist with hunting efforts to make this gathering a success. We do not wish everyone to be served only coleslaw.
Cordially,
Ambassador Montilyet
Agent Goal: As a party, kill 6 druffalos
Inquisition Goal:
PC/PS4/XOne: As a community, kill 25,000 druffalos
PS3/X360: As a community, kill 8,000 druffalos
Agent Completion: Agent awarded a Commendation Chest.
Inquisition Completion: All agents awarded a Victory Chest.
Mission: Druffalo Hunt begins at 10 am PST Friday, March 13, and ends at 5 am Monday, March 16.
Good luck!

"A version of the game demoed at PAX Prime in 2013, around a year before the game's final release, showed hints of a war simulation system, where players would have to focus on building up and maintaining military strength around their captured keeps. "We had to do some changes," Laidlaw admits. "That was something where we had a good working prototype but we hit a snag due to the technical limitations on it. Having multiple forces fighting works fine on PC but you end up in a situation where having realistic-feeling war on the older consoles is exceedingly challenging."
And they wonder why we "PC elitists" hates consoles.
This is the first time I feel sad because of consoles.

I wonder how much else was held back because of old-gen technology? I understand the commercial reasons for having the game straddle two generations, but I really hope DA IV will drop the PS3 and Xbox 360 and unleash its full potential!

ME 4 will from everyting I have heard so logic dictates. Kind of is a two edged sword for me I understand the arguments but releasing it on the PS3 allowed me to play it.

Of course it will. DAI is clearly the last Bioware game for the XB360 and PS3.
Then for the rest of the 2010s we have to deal with the limitations of the XBOne and PS4.

Trying to explain why I enjoy killing my own characters is...complicated. Especially since "enjoy" isn't really the right word.
It's like after a tabletop session, and someone asks me if I enjoyed it. I'm the GM. I don't "enjoy" it. I...derive satisfaction from it.

In order to participate in this weekend's #DAIMP challenge you will need to have the free Destruction DLC installed. Because Druffalo.
With this weekend challenge (Looking at you @SimplyAllegra), and because of a regular group I play with, I have "Druffalo Gals" in my head.

It's not satisfaction at their death, it's satisfaction that they're complete. Bittersweet fulfillment of purpose. I can think of no better.
