Mission: Weapon Testing (March 20 – 23)

 

To All Agents in the Field:

Arcanist Dagna has a theory about the Veil, and as her theories often do, it involves bloodshed.  She's asking for wide-scale slaughter with a variety of implements. I feel confident we can deliver that to her in the name of progress, don't you?

Agent Goal:

·         Kill 100 enemies with Daggers.

·         Kill 100 enemies with Bows.

·         Kill 100 enemies with Staves.

·         Kill 100 enemies with 1H Axes.

·         Kill 100 enemies with 1H Swords.

·         Kill 100 enemies with 1H Mauls.

·         Kill 100 enemies with 2H Mauls.

·         Kill 100 enemies with 2H Axes.

·         Kill 100 enemies with 2H Swords.

 

Inquisition Goal:

PC/PS4/XOne: As a community Kill 2,500,000 enemies.

PS3/X360: As a community Kill 750,000 enemies.

 

Agent Completion: Agent awarded a Commendation Chest per Weapon Type.

Inquisition Completion: All agents awarded a Victory Chest.

 

Mission: Weapon Testing begins at 10 am PST Friday, March 20, and ends at 5 am Monday, March 23.

I don't know where that is and I don't play MP (because people are mean) but that's a pretty map.

They're probably announcing the first real MP DLC.

I think  it makes sense that the Story DLC would require a little more work and as such be announced perhaps a few weeks or even a couple of months later. Getting the story sorted and writing some interesting side quests this time, I hope they take all the time they can.

Why are you assuming its single player DLC they're announcing? If there is going to be a DLC announcement then it will most likely be for multiplayer.

This weekend MP challenge offers 10 goals which would normally be 2 goals. So it seems they were preparing for new MP DLC. It might also be bundled with SP DLC. Who knows? But all I know is I'm heating up with anticipating.

The Weekend challenge is seperated into 1 community goal (kill 500,000 enemies) and 9 personal goals (kill 20 enemies with #weapontype).

 

 

So as much as I myself hoped for it being a hint for an upcoming content expansion; nope.

I'm still holding a torch (or whatever the expression is) for Serault - it sounds like Failbetter went to a substantial effort to flesh out that place, and we know the decisions from Last Court were recorded by the Keep.

They've been going #secrets for a while now, I'm not holding my breath that it's for SP and if it is then I'll be pleasantly surprised .
