It'd make a lot of sense considering they rescheduled the stream to be today, the day prior to a TUESDAY. Exactly 1 week sense the DLC was exclusively give to PC and Xbox one players.

The stream was moved because of technical issues the night before. They were going to spend some time playing JoH and then switch over to DAIMP on Friday. And remember before release they loved to stream on Monday's.

I doubt that MS has agreed only for one week exclusivity. Too much money on the table.

For reference, the last time Microsoft did this with a major RPG game, Skyrim, it was 30 days.

Hopefully.  If Bioware released a Deep Roads DLC (*crosses fingers*) and it was still Microsoft exclusive, I wouldn't blame non PC and Xbox One owners to flip tables in rage.

'More details' could mean a little or a lot. It certainly doesn't commit to when and the announcement this week is still partially a 'maybe'.

Hopefully.  If Bioware released a Deep Roads DLC (*crosses fingers*) and it was still Microsoft exclusive, I wouldn't blame non PC and Xbox One owners to flip tables in rage.

 

Neither Microsoft nor EA have said anything about later DLC having an exclusivity period, and Microsoft's advertising at E3 last year was all about the first singleplayer pack (which is Jaws of Hakkon). If there's more DLC coming, I reckon it'll be on all platforms from day one.

 

Players clearly never liked exclusive DLC deals, but the media also are making a big deal about JoH (and Destiny's extra strikes and content on PS4, too.)

 

We don't know how Microsoft helped with Jaws of Hakkon (maybe they paid for all its marketing, though there hardly seems to be any of that), but I can't see how it's a good idea for EA to line something like that up again. It certainly doesn't help their reputation.

I think the reason that they didn't do it Friday is because they knew they would be inundated with questions about when the dlc will come to other platforms. I think they might be able to answer that question tonight. 

 

I still expect it to be a 30 day exclusive though.

Information has been shared - it could have been 3 months (or longer)

and other franchises with timed exclusives remain in the dark - this is unusual.
