How do you know that Microsoft didn't pay for a portion of DAI's development as part of this deal?
Go ahead and make a new thread if you guys would like to keep discussing this, please.

I'm delighted to be participating in the narrative track at @ecgconf next week in Raleigh. Great location, great con, great people.

Careful Amelia you've said too much! D: *watches for black helicopters*
I cannot facepalm hard enough at this post. First of all, you're assuming the game I'm purchasing is digital. It isn't. And even if it was, that doesn't change the business-consumer relationship here. If I go into a store, buy a chair for 100 dollars, go home, sit in it, and it breaks, am I not entitled to a refund or a brand new chair replacement? Or are you saying the store has the right to just say "Sorry, you bought it, we have your money, now sod off."
I swear, if consumer rights was a person, they'd be weeping at your posts.
Unfortunately, yes, because the EULA has the equivalent of that, and by clicking "I agree", then... you agree to waive those rights/laws in your favour. They're selling you a license, not a game. The same EULA when you install. Whether digital or not.
Most of the time that won't be a problem, because you're dealing with stores (which WILL refund) and is there 'just in case', but yes, they can revoke your license at any time.
Maybe instead of assuming Chronoid is mistaken or misinformed, read up the EULA and return. That way you can debate on equal footing - preferably in a different topic.
It is nice to see models and such (though this is no doubt WAAAAY outta my price range), but I'm still disappointed that they don't have any others from DAI. I heard they were making Funko Pop! Vinyls of Dragon Age Inquisition, but they turned out to be Funko Titans (which just look like off-brand legos :c) of the Dragon Age IP as a whole, which meant the only DAI characters were... nobody. Alis and Leliana in DAI outfits, but that's it.
Very sad times, but I still watch the twitter in case that changes. >.>" I love the Pop!s - they're cuter than these types of models, as well as being much, MUCH cheaper.
I wish Alistair's shield was that badass in Inquisition. I guess a shield is a petty thing to complain about, but I got just a little bummed out every time I saw that ugly little buckler on his back. The dude deserves better.
I wouldn't trust ANY tweets today. Not unless there's a trailer to back it up haha.

I wouldn't even trust a trailer..

Guild Wars 2 had even a fake trailer back in 2011, haha...
I wouldn't even trust a trailer..
Trust nothing. The first is a horrid day of teasing all around.
And the floodgates open wide...
Imagine if they actually post something real that none of us believed. THAT would be the ultimate april fools.

Lord, yes. It's the same with Stroud & Hawke - you'd think they amassed a little shinier weaponry by now.
I like how they gave the figure a true Fereldian look now; with all furs and less pomp.

What if the real april fools joke is that they aren't doing any april fools jokes?
Just a reminder that this is a non-spoiler thread still ![]()
Worst part of April fools is that the Americans are still doing it as the evening of April 2nd approaches here. Having to sift through 42 hours of 'jokes'... :|
No, same here. Started seeing some shenanigans yesterday from the other side of the world. Thought it was safe because it was March 31 for me... nope. Already April 1 for them. Pfffffftttt...
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. Bethesda should send Obsidian cookies, too, and also complete control over the next Fallout game.
