This is what I see when I look at it:

That looks like the animated legend/myth we got in DA2 and DAO. The hood dude seems to be praying (his hands) and the "animal" in the background on the left migth be a bear (with the face half-facing you). There is probably something we can't see on the right (i.e a 3rd dude with another totem for lack of a better word).

I found something:

Chris Pickford: The last capture. http://t.co/uDFCP7oFmP

Here's the picture that came with it:

If you zoom in on the pic and look at the dude on his computer at the far end of the room you'll see something interesting on his monitor.

And here's the original picture.

IS the BSN doing something for E3?
Like a chat ? or I don't know running down the street naked and taking picture (I won't be doing that...)

I mean we waited more than a freaking year , we should have virtual chocolate medal or something.
Thought 1 pm suck , people are probably at work at this hour , or eating lunch :s

Anyway I think Chris recorded a podcast with Ryan Warden ...and I don't know who he is anyway...maybe DA related?

I will be hosting a chat on this thread a day before the event (to get things warmed up a bit). I might do one sooner, if there is a request for it.

Ryan Warden is on the Mass Effect Team I think. Not 100% sure though.

I have a feeling that picture was intentionally set-up, Chris probably sets these things up and then gets the devs to tweet these things just to see us suffer. Oh well it's still fun.

I have the feeling that it's two different sides the one on the right is a wolf. Could symbolise predator, hunter, isolation, pack? Free mages insignia or mage elitist? The character on the left has a cape, so you know that he\\she is going to be cool. Also that person looks to be wearing a helm which is in the same shape as the creature above, could be a dragon?

Oh thanks , Hawke 12 and Crazy Eyed One.

I think the one with a cape looks a bit Flemeth-y ...But the animal isn't really shaped like a dragon.Well could be a bad looking dragon.

It really reminds me of the picture of Orsino and Meredith when you start DA2.

And yeah there's a wolf ,it's strange ...not a lot of wolf in DA.
There's a big werewolf story about Fereldan , an the dog may have replaced the wolf as favorite pet ever ...but that's not really exciting.

Maybe Flemeth and a shapeshifting morrigan?
She was supposed to turn into a black dog at one point in DA O.
And she's a mother now too ...a she wolf can represent motherhood and becoming very fierce.
Who knows.

If you right click on the picture and save it, you can zoom in on it for a closer view. I personally think that the background creature on the left looks like a griffon, like this:

Not sure about the figure standing in front of it, though. The other person looks like the male protagonist from the leaked survey, he has the same build and stance.

Thanks! I was thinking about the letters though, like how when you know what BC stands for, it's easier to remember when to use it properly. I checked it out and PM is post meridiem (after noon), as opposed to ante meridiem.

I think I'll just go with "a comes before p in the alphabet" on this one... :?

It's Latin: 'am' stands for 'ante meridian' ('before the mid-point') and 'pm' for 'post meridian' (after the mid-point).

At least the team know they can get a reaction and pages of discussion by posting a small, blurry picture with suggestive outlines :P

I am going to add my bit to the cause of getting to 300 pages.

Last weekend was the yearly festival in our town. Carnival rides in the background, craft fair and food vendors in the streets, and live music playing on different stages. As I was sitting and listening to the band on that warm, sunny day I couldn't help thinking to myself, "What a perfect day, chilling with family and friends, drinking cold beer under the shade of the Vhenadahl tree . . . . wait, what? Did I seriously refer to it as a Vhenadahl tree?"

Perhaps my children are right and I do need an intervention.

One good thing about the wait for DA:I, I am finally playing Skyrim (which I preordered) so maybe I won't think in DragonAgese quite so much. Though I still think, "By the Maker" or "Maker's Breath." I don't think even the Elder Scrolls will get those terms out of my personal lexicon.

Sprint review is meant to start soon, isn't it?

I can't work out timezones so I'm assuming it's like April 2011 in Edmonton atm.
