Funny how some folks seem to think "freedom of speech" also means "freedom from consequences...and ejection by Calgary Expo".

 

So does that mean it happened at the con?

 

 

Also is there any news coming out of Calgary Expo, there seems to be BioWare devs there doing pannels

I think if they're gonna do or talk about anything substantial it'll be presented at E3. It's only 60 days away.

I'm guessing this is regarding Gamergate having a booth there. (Although possibly not anymore...)

Calgary Expo successfully imitated that horrendous SVU episode and kicked gamer girls out of the convention because they didn't like their politics.

That piece is a bunch of lies\hyperbole. 

 

First off  it tries to implicate them into some weird infiltration narrative based on the obvious tongue and cheek campaign pitch.

Secondly, its obvious who the badgers are, their company and names are listed on the page for anyone to look up. They aren't hiding behind alternate identities like Clark Kent and Superman. 

Thirdly what harassment occurred? 3 went to one panel and engaged in a Q/A. 

Are those 47 seconds all that are required to be defined as vile abusers? 

 

This is why I hate twitter mobs. It's all based on one or two people starting **** and ruining other peoples work/fun because they don't think the same way. It's even more disgusting that people take glee in ruining an expensive trip and business opportunity over nothing but hearsay

ok, some folk were evicted from a conference for not meeting the conference organisers' guidelines. Great. End of story there I suspect.

I merely pointed out that David and others were incorrect in their support of kicking out a woman's group because their politics didn't line up with that of an outraged twitter mob. 

 

I'd also argue that being evicted on false pretense after spending $10K to be there isn't a small issue.  But financial damage due to libel isn't worth mentioning I guess.

I don't know the behind the scenes discussions between the conference organisers/delegates and unless you have insider knowledge, nor do you. With due respect, shall we continue with other tweet discussions?

It's been some time. Pointed it some pages ago. The World of Thedas 2, The World of the Witcher and The Witcher 3 Prima Guide Collector's will arrive here almost at the same time (usually it's around 20 days from US to Brazil). Tons of reading...

I'm actually not too surprised. I felt like those numbers were a little low. It's like the bar has been lowered.

Could we get a new MP DLC pleeeeease. I can't take the same rooms over and over and over and over and over again with no real payout. The side doors don't lead anywhere except further in the dungeon where you screw yourself over since as soon as you open the door. All the enemies head towards you as soon as you open the damn thing. If there was more than one pathway to the next zone, that'd be fantastic. Maybe one has minibosses with better treasure, while the other has mob type enemies with less valuable treasure.

/rant over. (I'm just a little bored/sad that MP has turned so sour so quickly for me. Anyway, continue on people).
