One good thing about the wait for DA:I, I am finally playing Skyrim (which I preordered) so maybe I won't think in DragonAgese quite so much. Though I still think, "By the Maker" or "Maker's Breath." I don't think even the Elder Scrolls will get those terms out of my personal lexicon.

I've started Skyrim a total of 4 times and have never finished it. Why, you ask? Because the thought of pretty much going anywhere I want and pretty much doing anything I want (within the game's parameters, of course) absolutely terrified me. I have the deluxe strategy guide and even that looks and reads like a college textbook!

I remember one instance where my character was by himself and in some desolate area exploring some ruins in the middle of the night...and the fear factor suddenly kicked in when it dawned on me that he was by himself and in some desolate area exploring some ruins in the middle of the night. I was like, "Where's Alistair? Where's Anders? Hell, where's Bianca?"

That's what bothers me most about those games. It just seems so lonely without companions. In FO3 I had to google where the dog was because I couldn't handle crawling through the underground with all those ghouls by myself

If only Skyrim had just one companion with some dialogue, it would be so much better.

There are some great mods out there that help make some companions a lot better, if you play on PC.

I agree and maybe a slimmer version for mobile platforms.

^ The report button is actually pretty useless, it sends a message to EA's customer support people - who can take hours/days to get to it - rather than the moderators. If you need to report something you're better off PMing Chris or one of the active moderators (I know RaenImrahl is around).
