They really need to get their sh*t together. This issue is really annoying. I don't know if it's just EA/BioWare, other games don't have this problem. Every freaking time they release a dlc. Europe has to wait one day longer. I mean...it's not a new game release. So it should be available in every country at the same time.  

 

Except that this is something that is completely out of their hands. A lot of games nowadays are region locked and because of this different regions have different release dates for both games and DLC. I believe it’s also got something to do with when PSN and other online stores update in various regions. So NA typically updates on Mondays, Europe on Tuesdays. Only way to circumvent this is to make a game region free but that comes with its own issues.

Lol...This is surely a mistake by Dragon Age twitter account. Whoever runs that account, has totally no idea who's working at BioWare etc. So I don't even look at that.

If I'm reading this right, it sounds like buying one version of JoH enables use on both PS3 and PS4 versions?  I'm planning on eventually getting DAI for PS4, so it'd be really nice if I didn't have to buy DLC all over again too.

When was it never about money? The world runs on money. Game design is a business like all the others, it isn't a charity. Accepting this reality will save you a lot of trouble, more so than throwing a fit because a company has the audacity to charge you for their services. Then again maybe EA will see your post and completely reverse conventional business practices and accept smiles, not dollars as preferential currency.

Game releases don't have a problem when you can pre-order and pre-load, because it's the publisher who hits the button to let people play and the content was added to the store earlier. But it's DLC, there are different dates to add content to the store and they can't make it out of that date. Don't know why it's tuesday only for NA and wednesday for Europe and South America (have no idea about Asia), but it have been this way all these last 5 years I've been using PSN.

 

I live in Brazil but my PSN account is from Portugal (there was no store for brazilians when I got my PS3), if you live in EU, try to look for it after the weekly maintenance (don't remember the exact time), it should be there.

Australians as a general rule also get games and dlc 'a day late' because of time zone conversions. While it may be say the 26th in Australia (as an example with JoH) its still only the 25th in America, so in reality we get it on the 27th when its the 26th in America. So while technically a global release (everyone ought to get it at the same time), in practice it appears that countries that aren't America get it a day late

I find global releases much less infuriating compared to supposed rough release dates with Australia being about 2 months behind America, I'm principally looking at the non-existent release date so far for the Legend of Korra: Book 4...

Yes, if you go to your download list it'll show both the ps4 and ps3 versions available for download.

Well the PC version of the DLC is 14,99€ on Origin so I'd be really surprised if it will be more expensive than that. Is it still not up?

I just called my regional PS Service. And...they don't even know when it's going to be available nor what this dlc is. I just hung up and started laughing. Best Sony service ever.
