I LOVE Bethany, she's criminally underrated.

She's just a different kind of female character, who's still quite strong, but she's kind, polite, obedient and religious without being a zealot or extremist. Frankly, she'd make a wonderful love-interest to me, alas figures she's the main protagonist's sibling.

Bioware's already said there won't be any Awakenings-sized expansions for DA:I...

"Although he wasn't able to confirm anything, DLC will likely be comprised of sandboxes -- large new areas that players can wander around and complete a main quest in, but also find sidequests for. There isn't going to be another expansion like Awakening though, sadly. Darrah said that it was 'far too much work, and very expensive, as everything has to interact with the original game.'"

But is there any evidence that they have? IGN's comments seem to be pure speculation based on wishful thinking.

 

(I mean, I'd love a giant DAI expansion, but I don't think it's going to happen.)

It's possible, it'd be great if they did, but they have not made any noises in that direction (yet).

Uh, at this point I just hope that they throw us some sort of bone, either on E3 or in upcoming weeks. It's hard to live on hints alone (even if I still have TW3 to finish), in fact at some point vague hints become somewhat frustrating.

Just remember they have "rather peculiar rules they are obliged to follow" with regards to announcements and such. Darrah said something along those lines when people were pestering him about JoH and BE release dates. If there is something to tell, they may not be allowed to until a certain amount of time before release of "the thing".

Just speculation, of course.

Oh, I'm pretty aware of that - which doesn't change the fact that I wished they were able to say something already. I mean, as far as we know, the upcoming DLC isn't part of any exclusive deal AND it probably contains something people were waiting for long before JOH, which is more story-oriented content. Hopefully that means that they'd be able to reveal *something* soon enough.

I did find it unusual that they are recording multiple bard songs. That seems like a lot for one piece of DLC.

They also record Leliana for the upcoming DLC. I think it might be a bigger dlc than JoH if they need Leliana's voice actress. The new DLC please be post-story.

I thought this too, why would they bother for something the size of JoH?  Pleeeeeaaaase be a large-ish digital expansion with tons of content and Solas! *Keeps fingers crossed so tight I lose all feeling in them*

If it is post story I'd like to have more heads up than "day of release", as I've been holding my cannon pt pre temple of mythal just in case it's not post story. Wouldn't mind finishing the story.
