When they do look at the feedback, I hope that they'll find a way to improve the features instead of just cutting them all together.
Will probably be easier, now that they don't have to worry about PS3/Xbox360.

Indeed, trying to get a game running on last gen and current gen smoothly is a major pain in the arse unless you have completely different builds for last gen/current gen, something i wish the dev's would've done for DAI. It would’ve in theory made it so some of the mechanics they’d already shown off and invested a lot of time in could have been kept. People who can’t afford to or don’t want to upgrade to newer consoles would still get the core experience of the game while next gen players get that and some extra game mechanics to play with.

I was talking about the features that people are giving feedback on. Like side quests, the lifeless open world, protagonist's personality, cities, and forgettable antagonist.
Can you blame them?

There are posts in this thread saying that if Bioware discuss or announce DLC then they are legally obligated to release it and cannot change their minds. That is not correct, clearly. I'm not having a go at them for not communicating their plans, but "legal issues" is not the cause and neither are accounting rules - accounting rules and conventions apply whether or not you tell people you have a new thing to sell. Sending a press release has no effect whatsoever on that side of any business.
Anyway, I don't want to derail this further, so i'll stop there XD
Not exactly the case.
There's no legal issue with releasing information, there's no accounting issue with releasing information,
but from a 'revenue recognition' perspective, there is an issue for BioWare in when they accrue the revenue.

Either way, BioWare aren't discussing dlc until it's 'ready'.

As they should.

Well in theory we shouldn’t be kept waiting much longer. In the past the longest we have had to wait for a new DLC release was 3 months and 6 days (ME3’s Citadel DLC). As of today we are exactly 3 months post release of JOH so assuming they stick to the pattern and the timed exclusivity of JOH doesn't bugger things up I’d say we’ll get some info if not a surprise release within the next 2-3 weeks.
Not exactly the case.

Like I said, this is something they have to do anyway - it isn't related to whether they make an announcement or tweet out a teaser. They just (rightly, in my view) choose not to. But it is not for legal or accounting reasons, to be clear.

And we have had a thread about it since the 17th. Way to keep up, guys. lol (PC Gamer, not you, Hrungr.
)
EDIT: Also, may want to warn that article contains spoilers, if the leak is right, since they actually quote the survey in the article, Hrungr. I mean, yeah you'd assume its spoilers by the title, but still..

I hope they tell us something soon. This wait is getting unbearable.
Plz, bioware!
Think about how GTA V fans feel waiting for SP DLC, its getting close to 2 years with no info

They'll pick up any **** to write about these days.
Pretty doubtful this is real for a variety of reasons.

It's not just them, how many devs have had articles written about them just because of a tweet they make, especially before the game came out

At least that was a concrete detail or two. I can at the very least respect that as journalism.
