The survey itself is real. I was sent one.
Beyond that, who knows.

It looks like I'll have to amend my earlier post... again. ![]()
If they're doing a survey for the DLC, that likely means it's not near being finished. Seems strange to seek survey feedback late in development when it's harder to change things. Which would likely mean the next DLC won't be that one then. So we could still have that deep roads DLC.
Sorry Hrungr! I wasn't trying to make more work for you. Your dedication is appreciated.
No, thanks for the confirmation!
Let the BSNing commence!

I may be wrong, but I've seen people who got the survey say that it looked like EA was asking about how they should advertise this DLC (people were, for example, asked to pick phrases/descriptions that would make them buy it). So the possibility is that either this thing's almost ready and the survey's more about the DLC's marketing campaign - or, as many suspect, it's something we may see in far-away future.
I'm doing internal documentation on standards and practices for quest journals and their organization and it's pretty fun, not gonna lie.
Not everything in games is crafting believable elf sex. Sometimes it's spreadsheets.
And sometimes it's both.

I am both in awe and disappointed in myself for not making this pun.

Well, considering their DLC marketing thus far has consisted of "Hey guys! Guess what? Awesome news! You're going to get some DLC... uh, right now! Um, actually five minutes ago!", any marketing campaign done at least a few days in advance would be an improvement.

Laidlaw's suggestion a while back to keep an eye out for things that "seem story heavy" in trailers as an indicator of whether we'll get new companion/advisor content gives me hope that for the next DLC, they'll put out trailers long enough in advance that we'll have time to dissect them.
Someone make Nug Elope for real!
Yesterday @tylerD_lee called me a content creator... i still have a warm glow.
It makes sense.

I'd say it's believable trolling, first and foremost ;D
Deep Roads DLC Deep Roads DLC *chants and bangs fork and spoon on table.*
In the end, it's all media outlets writing about media outlets tweeting about what media outlets are writing about when there's no Molyneux to quote.

Well... all we can do now is sit and wait... and hope they pop out a trailer sometime soon. July? PLEASE

2 DLC's for a game (fan grumbles aside) that has been very successful, doesn't feel quite right.
DA2 'nearly' had 3 DLC's, with the cancelled Exalted March.
DAO had 5: Return to Ostagar, Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt (excluding day one, and Awakenings).
ME3 had 3: Leviathan, Omega, Citadel (excluding day one: From Ashes, and the Extended Cut).
The last DLC for both games dropped 10-12 months after launch, (so September-October for DAI, if similar).
My hunch remains:
July - something Dwarven.
October - something Elfy.

I quite like your hunch.
