If there was going to be a story-based DLC released tomorrow, I imagine it would already be up on the XBox Store.

Well I guess our DLC senses weren't completely wrong? It just wasn't exactly what we were expecting (though I'm still holding out some hope at least an announcement for tomorrow).

If there is a story DLC coming soon, it'll most likely be next week and hopeful Bioware talks about it this week

I think SDCC will be the coming out party for it (though I don't think it will be released until the end of the month or early next), so it'll have to be announced sometime this week (it could very well be tomorrow, at the same time they announce the item pack—that could even drive up interest for the latter). (At least I think SDCC is this weekend?)

What if they release the DLC tomorrow, but show the trailer at SDCC? Didn't JOH's trailer come after it was released?

The trailer released on the same day (there was confusion because BioWare announced the trailer the day before but didn't actually announce that the DLC was going live at the same time for PC and Xbone).

I think it was out the same day as release, but after it was already available to buy... It was a weird ninja-launch...

 

And again, while it'd be great if they did release a DLC tomorrow, I'm sure it'd already be up on the XBox Store if it was.

Xbox has been kind of jumping the gun with all of the DLC, haven't they? I feel like everything has come out a little too early for it. lol

It's really weird how unprofessional (for lack of a better word) the DLC announcements and releases have been for DAI compared to their earlier games.

Most of the ME3 DLC leaked beforehand due to people datamining the patches and previous DLC, but at least they were able to run a proper marketing campaign for the bigger ones. And I don't remember anything about the DA2 DLC leaking before the first trailer.

Mike leaked Legacy (he gave us shots before any press), and I think they were on the convention circuit really hard that year, so Fernando (or somebody) announced all the item packs beforehand. But I don't remember any actual "leaks", no.

I think the exclusivity broke something, and the last two DLC haven't really been worth advertising (they're just sort of there, and BioWare seems to be content with that). But they did announce Dragonslayer and spent a whole day playing it and talking about it on their stream.

I still expect full press for the final DLC.

There wasn't ever any trailers or anything, but they usually tweeted about them within a week of release.

The Qunari armor looks incredible, but, I was immensely excited for story content for a millisecond there, with the leaked files. 

 

What if this is the DLC, that they meant by 'soon'? What if, the actual story DLC, is a drastically interminable more prolonged 'soon'?

Nope 

That sucks. The armors themselves would have gone good with a character I had planned, but if we can't change the colors then so much for that plan. 

 

This day is just full of Bioware screwing fans over DLC.
