So Spoils of the Qunari still isn't showing up on the PS4 store.
PS store usually doesn't update until around midday.

Sigh. Not a single word from Bioware about the Spoils of the Qunari. I guess they dislike marketing now.
They let Youtubers like LadyInsanity do their job.
Do you mean they're selling the armour now but it will also be purchasable in the new DLC for in-game currency?
That would never happen, the backlash would be ridiculous.
That person is under the -- justified, IMO -- impression that they created a bunch of cosmetic content for JoH, which they did, some of which is available upon completion of the story DLC, and then intentionally left some of it out of the game so it could be packaged as separate item DLC.
I will say that I don't really care about how Bioware does their DLC. If I was interested in a given item pack I would buy it (yes, I'm just the kind of sucker customer they want), just as I bought all of the DA2 DLC. That said, it does appear less-than-kosher that they have a bunch of cosmetic, and usable, items in the game in the story DLC itself, and then ask you to buy additional ones that appear like they would have been included in the original story DLC to begin with.
I will give an alternate example. In the current game we have Cassandra's starting weapons of an Inquisition sword and shield. Unfortunately these are not available anywhere else in the game; not as purchasable items from Seggrit (who is supposedly selling illicit Inquisition blades), or as schematics so we can craft our own. But, the models are present in the game itself. It would be borderline offensive if Bioware were to make a weapon pack that included these items and then sell that for real money as DLC when something as simple as that should have been included in the game by default.
But you know what? I would probably buy it anyway. ![]()
... Wha-- I. What? o.O
I kinda find the irony hilarious. Mostly because you gotta laugh to keep from crying at some point.
Phew! Seems like bug then. I am excited again! Anyone hear knows when new DLC appears on PS store???
PS Store usually doesn't update until late afternoon/early evening North America times, so a lot later today.
That's a lot of nekkid Qunari butts. And some very strategically placed long Qunari hair. ![]()
It actually looks quite good but I'm not sure my Tal-Vashoth mage would be too thrilled about surrounding herself with reminders of the Qun and the thoughts of what they'd do to her if they got their hands on her. Then again, she'd like all the nekkid butts. It's a conundrum for her.
It's a shame the companions don't make any comments regarding your decor selection. Since it can be assumed the Skyhold customization UI has some sort of code associated with each selection, you might think that it could be called on as a reference for dialog. Having Bull, or even Dorian, make some remark about the naked Qunari male statues would by hilarious; or Sera could bemoan the fact that they aren't women instead. Never mind! I see there are some Qunari ladies!
On the other hand, it might be irksome to players who like to mix items. For example, I use everything Inquisition except for the Dalish II drapery -- it is the most simple and plain drapery available, and Orlais III bed. But it wouldn't make sense for someone to remark on my elven decor simply based on some gold drapes.
Is this just a new spoils of the Qun content dlc? Someone let slip the other week on Twitter about SoQ and when asked if they ment SoH they said yes SoH. But was it a slip?I just looked at the files myself.
Spoiler
Today, remote attendance for a DA content review that promises to be exciting, followed by, hopefully, poutine with @kessel_run.

Vivienne does if she likes you. Though for some choices she'll just say "You've made such intriguing design choices for the castle, my dear".

This to me says no DLC this week ![]()

Hmm this could be for another DLC, not the one that’s coming soon. Content reviews are more common during full on development than during testing as everything content wise is normally signed off on once you get to the testing stage. It could also be that this is the final content review before the new DLC gets sent off for certification.

Billy from the MP team slipped up on that. He's a bit of a goofball, so I'm fairly sure that was not an intentional *winkwinknudgenudge* slip but an honest whoops. ![]()

Indeed, I can just imagine the ‘oh ****’ moment he had after realising what he posted. ![]()
I suppose we could still get something regarding story DLC. The day is still young...
*clings desperately to optimism*
Highly unlikely we’ll be getting anything today. I’m not expecting story DLC until the end of the month/early next month now as it sounds like it’s not even in certification yet.
Didn't get the SoA bundle as I wasn't keen on the armor. Ever since they announced that Qunari would be playable I've wanted traditional Qunari armor so this one I will get.
i'm on xbox one BTW if that makes a difference.
UPDATE: Everyone but qunari can change the color of the armor.
I was already irritated enough by this DLC, but this irony just takes the cake right away from Sten.
Is there any lore (codices or something similar) attached to those armour pieces? And if so, are they supposed to actually be Qunari, or just Qunari-inspired? Because (and I don't mean to troll or anything, I'm genuinely curious) if women are not warriors in Qunari society, how do female armours exist? Or are they supposed to be from the Ben-Hassrath (where if I understand correctly, women can serve as fighters)? Or am I missing something, and so completely wrong?

No, that's not what I meant. I'm saying that we will most likely see part of the content offered in THIS DLC in the upcoming SP DLC, (like the qunari armors), only in the SP DLC we will not be able to use it. Just like how in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC, the Avvar armor was already there, but we were unable to use it ourselves. The only difference is that this time the cosmetic armor is offered first. And my point was that this was intentional so people wouldn't notice and increase the sales instead of rightfully saying that it's pretty annoying that they're holding out content already IN the SP DLC to offer separately just to make you pay more.

(from banter)Cassandra: I am surprised you accept fighting at a woman's side, Bull. I understood Qunari women didn't fight.Iron Bull: If a Qunari women really wants to fight and has a gift for it, she becomes an Aqun-athlok. The Aqun-athlok joins the warriors and is treated as a male. He becomes... a guy, for all intents and purposes.Cassandra: But she wouldn't physically become male, surely!Iron Bull: Doesn't matter. In the Qun, your role is everything.Cassandra: And... do you think of me as male, then?Iron Bull: Depends. In... or out of your armor?
I would also add that Sten points out that you can't be a woman and a warrior at the same time. Which means one must be abandoned... But it doesn't mean women can't become warriors.
They may just be selling these armors as separate content, so that they could actually afford to make them for the next story DLC.

DRAGONS! Venture deep enough into the far reaches of Thedas, and you're bound to cross paths with Dragon Age: Inquisition's apex predators. They're big, they're bad—Maker's breath, they're even in the title of our game—and now they're coming to Skyhold! We've added a new dragon-themed prop set for you to use at Skyhold, but it's only available to the worthiest warriors.

How can you get this cool new set of items for your Inquisition? Play the Fereldan Castle map in multiplayer mode and defeat one of its three dragons. Easier said than done! Whether you team up with a group of agents or perform this challenging feat by yourself, the choice is yours. Take down a dragon by any means necessary, and you'll be awarded this prop set for your single-player campaign.
The Dragon Props set includes dragon eggs, dragon skulls, a wyvern statue, and more to make Skyhold a little more impressive to your allies and intimidating to your enemies. To use these items, simply select them from the Skyhold customization menu after they're unlocked. Remember, you must first slay a dragon in multiplayer mode to unlock the set. Then close the game, and the next time you connect to the Dragon Age servers, the props will be available!

Note: Access to the Dragon Props set requires installing the latest game update, so be sure to do that first before challenging the dragons in multiplayer mode.
Good luck!
