We always knew the old games would impact the new SP game they told us they would. They also promised that MP would not impact the SP game.

I wasn't happy about it either, since I registered My copies basically just in a moment of boredom. I could have not have those registered.

Between the decision to abandon last gen, and now locking content behind MP, kinda feels like they're ripping off a band-aid to me. They must have known people would be pretty unhappy about both situations. Maybe they are getting all the 'bad news' out of the way? Maybe something happier soon?

With how they treated abandoning the fans on the older consoles as a good thing for those fans, I doubt it.

We always knew the old games would impact the new SP game they told us they would.

There was not even a direct way to import save files.

They also promised that MP would not impact the SP game.

Does a cosmetic item really affect SP campaign?

That's a lot of nekkid Qunari butts. And some very strategically placed long Qunari hair.

 

It actually looks quite good but I'm not sure my Tal-Vashoth mage would be too thrilled about surrounding herself with reminders of the Qun and the thoughts of what they'd do to her if they got their hands on her. Then again, she'd like all the nekkid butts. It's a conundrum for her.

 

I felt the same about it for my femqun mage. HOWEVER, everything but the hevy armor doesn't directly advertise the Qun philosophy. It shoes off the race/culture. So it's very generalized and can be interpreted multiple ways. It's vashoth friendly I'd say.

I really wonder if DA team can give any good news to me after that. I mean good news would likely mean DLC info, but that would just make me sad. I wonder if they are stopping Multiplayer DLC's for old gen as well.

They said all future DLCs will no longer be available to older consoles, so yes that includes MP ones.

I think the dragon decor is a test whether a few cosmetics are a good enough incentive to play multiplayer. I won't be getting one, because my connection is too crappy to play DAI MP, but I won't be crying over it. I'll wait and see what is going to be announced later on. Despite the SP DLC apparently still being far away from being delivered (*cries*) I'd like to point out that quite a lot has happened lately - the comic has been announced for November, new stuff for game has been added and now we have the latest patch, the implementation of which isn't yet over (we're yet to get SP patch notes and I bet there are some more MP news awaiting us this Friday).

 

Then there's of course, SDCC. You think people won't be showering Bioware devs with questions there?

Yeah, they really could have had better timing with that decision. That just sucks.

True, that comic does look interesting. I haven't read any of the other comics, but I might check that one out. And hopefully they can answer some questions at SDCC. They've been pretty tight-lipped recently.

Yeah I am so ambivalent, but mostly leaning to bummed. I'm still partially in the mode of wanting to find out what the next DLC is about and what happens next in the story (SOLAS!), but then I have to remember that this is going to do me no good since I won't be playing any of it for a long time. This whole being cut off from DLC in mid-cycle thing is just garbage.

I was really looking forward if there was Wolf Hunt DLC and apparently there is at least Qunari DLC upcoming that would have been intresting. I guess I have just to watch playthroughs on youtube, cause Bioware doesn't take my money.
